I created this music video for The Children's Television Workshop with a technique called paper cutout collage. Shot this in 35mmm under an Oxberry animations stand.
The same year that the late Olivia Goldsmith wrote her first novel. It was called "The First Wives Club". Many of you might remember the movie that was based on the book.
My son is 9 months old. He LOVES this song and goes into a trance watching the video. They show old re-runs of this sometimes and I got it on a VHS tape now. I wish I could find the song on itunes for him.
I loved the letter N best. I had so many dreams about this at night! WHo made the animation here? Was it Jim who also did MJ's "Leave Me Alone?' video? it looks like him. Someone also needs to try and make a catchy remix of this song if possible.
I guess they got that memo because they cut the ending short! LOLz @the fact that B talks about a bear roaring but shows a kitten morphing into a tiger!
I remember when I was about four, this segment scared me REALLY badly. I was always worrying it would come on whenever I watched Sesame Street; it was terrifying.
My students found this Sesame Street video while finishing their animation assigments in class. I designed & directed this video at Klasky Csupo for the Children's Television Network.
It was surprising to revisit this after so long...
Yea this was one of my favorite alphabet songs from sesame street... Sesame street sucks now, Elmo's cool but does he really need 15 minutes all to himself...
Oh wow I remember this! I was only a little kid and I grew up calling 'Z' Zee instead of Zed, coz I'm british and they didn't change it for the UK... Got in so much trouble or doing that at Pre-School
My son, now 15 years old, use to call it "apapetoyo" when he watched it when he was an infant. I've been telling him about it all these years! Now he has seen it again.
Omg i remember this wen baby bear was learning how to say his abc's. I even hav this in vhs since i was a baby back in 94.
