3D has been around for many years. They're trying to bring it back. 3D won't last, because it just isn't for everyone. My mom can't watch 3D, it gives her headaches, and hurts her eyes. 3D isn't healthy, and just doesn't benefit us.

3D done well is a great thing. So many people reject it simply because there are some bad executions out there. That's just short-sighted. That being said, a legitimate reason for rejecting it is active 3D (versus passive or glassless). Active 3D with shutter glasses is a guaranteed headache causer. LG seems to be doing the most things right.

Unless you can make the lenses in my actual glasses non-obtrusive 3d capable at all times, it's just no good.

Wearing two pairs of glasses is painful and annoying and not wearing my glasses leaves me blind.

I was kind of impressed with 3D (movies) in the past, but now it don't really impress me anymore. now whenever I watch a 3D movie or view a 3DTV at a store I just kind of say "oohh 3D... xP " lol

I prefer standard HDTV (720p or 1080p) or even LEDTVs.

Besides the fact that some people get side effects from the 3D glasses many of the newer glasses eliminate the cross talk (speaking about sony because that's the one I have experience with). Also if its Native 3D (recorded with 2 cameras or two digital chips) then it looks far superior then a post conversion which is blah. And that might be a reason for its disdain, Avatar was Native 3D it looks phenomenal. Some 3D games are pretty good as well others not so much.

I wear glasses already for my bad vision. I can't wear two pairs of glasses at the same time. That means every time i watch tv in my own home i have to put in my contacts. I'm sure other people can relate to me here. and i'm just not so sold on the glasses free 3D deal.

People used to say color TV was overrated same with audio. 3D is gonna be the same. I have the LG Optimus 3D and its amazing for being the first 3D phone on the market. It can only get better.

I just got a LG 3D Smart TV and tbh I don't use the 3D at all. On asks there is 1 3D channel. 1. it's really not worth it at the moment, wait a few years until more 3D channels come out.
