Just learn to listen. They are all "drums machines" and nothing more.

Just check out all the vids from terrana, he never uses triggers or equalizators. He goes, plays it, and its JUST PERFECT. That ain't no easy stuff, It would be a lot easier to do it with all the machines that all of that drummers (great drummers, but not enough for me) you bring to memorie uses.

Mike is one big scary monster of a drummer!!!! He's fun to watch. The band I was in, back in '96, opened for the Tony MacAlpine band & Mike was the drummer. He totally blew my mind back then. As a drummer I learned so much by watching him play. What a creative genius!!!! Kickin' ass!!!!
