I love ME 2 though , i tried ME 3 Demo , i love it of course....but ME 1 seems quite different to ME 2 and 3

I bought mass effect on Origin, download it, installed it and on status it tells me ready to play

I click launch, the launcher for the game comes up as normal, when I click play, it loads for about 5 seconds, stops, then for half a second, then nothing happens, I try again, same happens again. Is it me or the computer that's doing something wrong?

Awesome. I'd like to see how you play through ME2 as well. The only knowledge I have of the series is through walkthroughs like this. I've watched one playthrough of ME2 already, but the choices are so vast you could conceivably play it as a whole different game than he did, makes things very interesting. Thanks for HD too.

@tjw3999 What are you talking about, the first one is much better. You get a proper inventory system, buy and sell shit, you have loads of different armors and weapons you can use. You can actually buy stuff from the store, the story alone in ME1 destroys ME2. I loved the rover landings on the planets, different gravity on planets, given missions to you by Earth as you enter different solar systems. Soo much was cut out in ME2.

@tjw3999 To say that ME1 sucked is just incorrect. When it came out it was incredible, and the only reason it's "bad" compared to ME2 at all is because ME2 is that much greater. ME1 isn't bad - it just isn't as good as ME2 which is amazing.

Thank you tetraninja; thank you for choosing the original Shepard face, and career. I always find someone being an adept or technician or mixed, and always making horribly ugly faces, that I can't even stand looking at them. Also, as you progress through the game, you get more stable weapons, mainly the sniper rifle, though it normally takes at least a second playthrough for the sniper rifle to give you no trouble whatsoever. Upgrades help too. Not sure if you already know this or not.

@nchoe775 the guns in mass effect have unlimited ammo but overheat, the guns in mass effect 2 had thermal clips which took the gun heat but made it that you couldn't use a gun without them.

Eventually your gonna get conversation options that require a certain lever of paragon or renegade points,earned by being either good or bad in conversations. If you want to be the best and most involved experience,choose to be good or bad. Do NOT select weapons for your team that they can't use (notice the word "untrained"), basically their accuracy will be poor and it's like firing from the hip.

Later weapons that you can find or buy (I prefer scavenging) will be more stable, accurate etc.

For grenades, press the grenade button again to trigger them.

Can't 'till I have my PC copy of ME3 CE :D .

Weapon & power menus are combined (no wheels in your view), quick keys (if you use them) and quick saves :D .
