  • Is there any place in Canada that does this?? I have a 1911 I would like to get my lower done in OD green. But I live in Ontario Canada and cant send to the states

  • Thaks for the vid.......Just to pass along a tip, I used to make hundreds of parts made of 2 part urethanes. I cut my cleaning time down by 90% buy going from Pyrex which I had to cleanout every 5 minutes, to a row of digital scales and cheap disposable cups, one for each part then toss them. It also cuts down the waste that you left in all three containers.

I am currently using the KG but have considered your product if it really is that much better. Kydex is very hard on KG, on NIC?

  • This is a really cool process and finish.

  • I see that there was no masking off of any of the internals. Do you know if the inside of the reciever was blasted too and can you tell me it the inside of yout pistol and rifle was cerakoted.

    Thank you, great Vid !

  • What is the liquid solution they have boiling at the beginning?

  • @rkizzle Its not boiling, it just warms the parts a little!

  • @rkizzle it's not boiling water. It is degreaser used before the sand blasting.

  • @kmisa73

Any idea what degreaser it is? I like the idea of degreasing like this vs. a spray on degreaser.

  • @rkizzle Im not sure of the brand of degreaser. However the purpose is fairly straight forward, the spray uses more product and is not as cost effective as a submergible dipping process.

  • @rkizzle Maybe a belated response but I believe that is acetone.

  • This vid reminded me of the PS2 game called "Black".

  • How do they keep the dust off of it? I had someone duracoat my barrel and there is the hugest piece of dust on it that I've ever seen (not that I really care, just wondering is all).

  • @djcise That would create a mess!

  • @12345AaronS Thay sweep the floor! That is a spray booth he is in, it has a suction fan that sucks all the overspray onto those filters you see in the background. If you watch closely while he is spraying , the overspray is actually being pulled away from him and the workpiece. A huge cloud of paint just isnt hanging around. Hope this helps explain a little.

  • They make it look so easy.
