I read the captions as you were painting this. What your freind should tell the wealthy cow is that although she comes from a rich family, she is still going to end up in a wooden box just like everyone else. That's one of the thoughts that gives me a buzz when I see people showing off their flippin Ferraris and Porsches. If there's one thing in the world I would love to be able to paint and draw as skillfully as you. Take care!

Just look at how many stories we now read where a seemingly wealthy man has to top himself and take his family with him because he is about to lose it all. Meanwhile I have no debts, I don't own a house and I'm quite happy in my simple world.

i am not being stupid or rude. i am a history student so i know very well that this is a chinese painting. they dont have SIMILAR traditions but those traditions are actually DERIVED from China which has a history of over 6000years. it's natural that the new born neighboring countries such as korean or japan would be influenced by her culture.

But this is very obviously chinese painting. is there anything as "Korean" painting!? i dont see any difference between the two, it's just that the koreans claim that this kind of painting belongs to them does not mean that it does!

I don't think I should blow air at flames, but what you're learning is a 'fixed' version of history. China is the one derived from Korea. Just look for a little proof and you'll see what lies you've been taught, and perhaps start learning the true history.
