lol . . . I didn't even know Oakland had so many white folks. In fact, that is all I see. Let the media tell it, only Blacks, Latinos and others are the majority, and out there reaking havoc on the masses. If this is a representation of the 99%, then this movement has failed before it even begins. Would be good for them to reach out to those long ignored and suffering communities they have been privileged to be socially aliened from before their own lives began to resemble them.

@113Doctor actually they do.. Rights are a legal term, even your freedom of speech is and always has been regulated (seeing as treason has always been a law in the US).

If you think your rights are "god given" or natural, then try not paying your taxes and see what happens, or go into a crowded building and yell fire, or try to purchase federally regulated land.

As much as I hate the tea party, occupy is starting to make them look smart... Beating drums and marching gets a message out, but aside from that it doesn't do anything else...
