  • What are really good protiens for your hair? To eat?

  • But it at any GNC store

  • I read about argan oil and WOW Argan oil penetrates the hair shaft all the way to the cortex repairing it from inside out. I was amazed. But since argan oil is so expensive coconut oil is still the number 1

  • @temickab lol to the cortex LOL :D

  • @litia did i spell it wrong? lol

  • Hi! Thanks for the advice! What type of coconut oil do you use and where would i buy it?

  • your hair is gorgeous. is it in your genes? did it look like that before coconut oil.

  • I use Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair oil because you get the benefit of the Amla, Henna, Triphala, Brahmi herbs along with the coconut hair oil. You can buy it at Lakshmi's Cupboard (an online store) if they do not sell it locally.

  • GREAT VIDEO, you can also buy coconut oil online at iherb.com and use this coupon to ger $5 off, i bought the linving foods brand its really good.

    Thanks.

    (Great video, BTW)

    :>)

  • You missed one of the most important facts about coconut oil ... Put some in your diet its the most nutritious oils ever. What you put in your body shows on the outside.

  • I use that , and you are right massaging does help alot. You have very pretty hair.

and you are very pretty also.

  • hello. do you rise it out with water or do you shampoo your hair.

  • Hi!

    CO is awesome!!

Also, randomly- your voice reminds me of Jennifer Lopez!

    And Dominicans are bomb!

  • Great video! Very informative! One ?. what coconut oil do you recommend and where can i purchase? Thanx

  • Is it possible to eat Coconut Oil?

  • @Ynnlarcron you can definitely use it in cooking. that is where i buy mine..in the cooking oils aisle at the grocery store.

  • im going to mix coconut, jojoba, alma and emu oil. i would rather make my own combination so i 100% know what im putting on my hair naturally :)

  • makes my face break out

  • what brand is the coconut oil you use?

  • hi, i believe there's no more to treat my dry scalp & hair, i've already tried many treatments but it persists.

  • hey i have dry hair, and i think that is the cause of my hair breaking. i was wondering if coconut oil will really help strengthen it whike moisturizing it? and how long would i have to use it?

  • I love Coconut Oil, I was just wondering after you rinse the coconut oil out of your hair what do you do with your hair, do you re-blow dry or re-flat iron? or air dry?, Thanx gorgeous:)

  • how often should you do this treatment?

  • i doubted that i have oil glands in my scalp but when i applied coconut oil 4 about 3 times but 4 long hours n with ample amounts my oil glands started to excrete oil. coconut oil made my the oil glands of my scalp active after being non- active for 24 years.

PSi message my scalp n put on a plastic bag n take it off until my scalp gets cool n then have a shower, this way prevents hair loss.

  • Walmart has good organic kind for ten bucks in the vitamin isle

  • Also great for face and all over skin lotion

  • ima try using coconut oil again.i had stopped for a while idk why but ima use it again...might go get sum extra virgin kind!

  • hi, thanks for the info, but can coconut oil prevent hair loss, too?

  • Thanks for the video and information

  • Hi! we got various product benefited from virgin coconut oil. Check our product at - w w w . b i o - a s l i . c o m / ? i d = SULHAN

  • Hi DE! Thanks for the amazing tips! How often should you use this? Or use it right before you wash your hair? Thanks in advance!

  • yes big hugs back to you too ... you have a luscious length to your hair ... i have just started with olive oil on my hair instead of suave [synthetic] conditioner, and i have seen a difference in 2 days already. i will be stepping up to virgin coconut oil in about a week ..

anything you put on your hair or skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream so its important to not use anything for beauty or haircare that you wouldnt want to eat..

and coconut oil is one of the best oils to cook with..

  • @g4ready this is true, you should try not to use anything on your skin that you wouldnt eat :D

  • Coconut oil causes dandruff and i can't use it in summer .

  • Someone please help! I have been using cocobut oil on my hair for nearly three months now and my hair is turning red. This is not what I expected and I do not like red hair. What can I do to reverse this? I did research on coconut oil and found out that it can DARKEN hair not lighten it before I started this treatment. I also found out that it can stop hair loss and promote hair growth. But I did not find anywhere that it can cause reddness of the hair. Help!

  • Use original.May dat's somthing else or mixture of 2-3 oils.

  • It may be something else you are puttingin your hair. Are you sure it doesn't have henna in it? Henna is a dye that doesnt look red and can turn the hair red. check your other hair products. Hope this helps.:)

  • @ragigyp are you sure its the oil that's turning it red? Are you using any other products that may cause this??? This sounds quite strange to me.

  • I've been using shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil on my hair for more than 7 months now and my hair is more than perfect!! I actually got rid of my damaged ends (well, actually it was damaged half its lenght) I have dark hair and it seems darker than ever. Make sure you're using pure coconut oil. It should look like butter, not like oil. You should try making it at home. That's how I get it. It's quite simple... The only one I have to buy is Shea butter.

  • Thanks for the reply to you and the others who replied with their helpful hints. I have started using organic extra virgin coconut oil and the redness has definitely disappeared. Where do you get shea butter for hair? How can you make it? I also prefer dark hair over light hair and would not mind using those two products.

  • Where do you get the coconut oil? and shea butter and all?

  • @morphidae ya I dont buy into the whole 'virgin oil' thing, use the natural stuff, pure and unrefined because it has all the good stuff in it.

for example: virgin olive oil is a rip off. note how light it is vs regular olive oil...thats all the good stuf taken out, including flavor...similar with virgin coconut oil. in north america we buy into that BS but you are paying for a process and losing the product lol.

i love coconut oil, great stuff, inside and out!

  • I did the coconut oil treatment yesterday -- I mixed it with a little avocado and olive oil. I left it on for eight hours.

And let me tell you, today, my hair looks FABULOUS and is the softest it has ever been! I will keep this regimen up every week from now on!

Thank you so much for sharing this video!! :)

  • @eleanorayoulateagain what kind of coconut oil b/c extra virgin dried my hair out after 2 days

  • great video, thanks for the info.

  • Your hair is stunning!!! I am using a mixture of coconut oil and olive oil on my hair right now. Leaving it on for a few hours and then will wash it out and then condition. :) Thanks for the tips!

  • well I have indian descendents, and we all know Indians care alot about hair, my hair is like 50 cm but it's curly, does that coconut oil makes it shiny or it's cool for health?

    Btw I'm a male o.O

  • hi, thank you for your video. i use my coconut oil warm. i heat it up and then i put the warm oil from the ends of my hair to the top. and in the end i massage it as well. i keep it for one hour on my head and then i wash it out. i do this once a week. my hair is oily on the top so i cant use this more than once a week. but the ends are very dry. and when i do this my hair shines and looks healthy. i definitely love this oil! :-)

  • can u use any kind of coconut oil?

  • hi.. i use coconut oil too because my hair is dry. i use it liquid, but i just notice it remains dry though it's silky smooth. i really have a very unruly hair.. coz of desperation, i just had my hair rebonded. can i still use coconut oil? how do i make it healthy still naturally?

  • Extra virgin olive oil penetrates as well. When i had a perm I liked to put it on the ends of my hair

  • hi, thanks for your vid. I bought coconut oil from austrailia, but it is liquid. I use it once a week on my hair and scalp, where a snood to bed and then shampoo in the morning. wow, has my hair grown since the summer. I also take vit b biotin. my hair is now like silk. I am on a long hair journey, I am 70 years old.

  • Well hell your just a baby i'm 72.

  • why do you have to rinse it out

  • You don't have to rinse it out if you don't want to, but any oil can weigh down your hair, and I like my hair bouncy.

  • @slo1986 cuz it smells stink

  • is it ok to use a refined coconut oil on the hair? i just got the cheap lou ana kind from walmart

  • Is lou ana's coconut oil hydrogenated?

  • @achqueen

I tried using refined coconut oil before, and I ended up breaking out in itchy bumps on my scalp and neck. But when I switched to virgin coconut oil I experienced none of those problems. In fact, I even use occasionally as a face and skin moisturizer during colder weather and no break-outs :).

  • not very hygenic to dip the fingers into the huge jar of coconut oil :P

  • Thank You Queen! I have used the coconut oil indeed it helped my hair a lot I used it as a hot oil treatment great results.......

  • oh my your fine..even out of focus:P

  • I have two bottles of coconut oil and one forms a solid (room temp is 20) and the other remains a liquid. Do you know which is better in quality? Thanks.

  • Coconut oil gets rid of dandruff. It prevents & helps heal cracked hands. Gets rid of fungus/candida infections. Gives you more energy... the list is almost endless!

  • Hola Dominicana!! I love coconut oil for my hair. I also love jojoba and olive oil too. I don't dye my hair either. I only use henna from India. Its all natural and it actually strengthens the hair. Take care!

  • what's henna?

  • Henna has many uses - it is used in India and other countries to do temporarily tattoos (body art) and it is also used to dye hair, strengthen it, loosen a curl pattern, condition the hair, etc. I use it to dye my greys. If you do a search on youtube you will find many tutorials. HTH!

  • Coconut oil has been used in India for hundreds of years!! :) My mom applied coconut oil in my hair since I was a baby....now I apply warm coconut oil in my hair AT LEAST once a week...this is why Indian women have such thick, shiny and gorgeous hair! I'm also loving how ancient Indian remedies are being used everywhere!! India ROCKS!!

  • I love and always use Amla and Henna. I love Indian products for my hair.

  • NICE!! My mom gave me amla oil but I just find it easier to use coconut oil...of course I also cook with coconut oil...

  • I personally prefer the amla powder. The smell is more pleasant. Hey I didn't know you could cook with coconut oil. Is it a special oil or can I use what is sold at Whole Foods?

  • I buy any Organic coconut oil...i keep one jar for food purposes and the other for skin and hair! :) I cook my eggs with coconut oil, and I use it instead of olive oil in other meals...it doesn't taste as good in delicate pasta dishes...some people just take a spoonful and swallow! Eww that makes me cringe...the oil you are buying should be good for use in foods but the next time you're at Whole Foods just ask one of the people working there just to be extra sure! :)

  • I think that dying can be damaging. However, how frequently do you dye? what is your hair regimen? meaning what products do you use on your hair? If you want you can e-mail me directly. It may take a while for me to respond because I get a lot of e-mails, but I always do.

  • do you believe that all hair dying is bad for ur hair. because ever since i dyed it my hair has been dry...now it look like two colors but i really want to let it grow into my natural hair.

    what do you think??

  • Thanks for this vid, girl. Looking forward to more tips! :-)

  • I have coconut oil and my hair is so shiny. I love it. can you do a video on how you do your hair and what products do you use. you have very healthy hair.

  • I must try coconut oil now! I've had thinning hair this past year so maybe it will help... You are gorgeous by the way! Hope to see some more videos soon.

  • Thanks for the simplistic tutorial. Some people have like 10 minutes of how to use this stuff, and I just needed to get to the breakdown. So thank you for that. Also quick question: I mix coconut oil with olive oil and an olive oil-based hair moisturizer, put it in a spray bottle and put that in my hair after a shower. Is that an overload?

Thanks in advance, and nice hair.

  • awesome thanks so much! this really works!

  • Hey, i don't refrigerate mine. I wouldn't use anything past the expiration date no matter where i use it. Hugs, DE

  • do i must keep it refridgerated and can i use this beyond the expiration since it's for skin/hair?

i lovvvvvvve coconut oil now. i tried today for the first time and i dont wanna buy lotion anymore.
