You know what sucks? The very first time I beat the game, I got pure platinums on all of the credits parts, but I did absolutely shitty against Jubileus, herself. Now that I can reliably kick Jubi's ass, I can't seem to replicate the skill with which I dispatched Jeanne in the credits anymore.
Finding fappable material EVERYWHERE. Use logic, this game is a total rip-off of DMC, has poor graphics and tries to salvage by trying to make hot women. Thus the core demographic must be 13-15 y/os, which can be proven by the amount of 1337spe4k in your comment.
The developers used to work for capcom, but capcom was too embarrased to print their logo on these games.
So they shut them down, and now they are doomed to make crappy capcom ripoffs.

But since his employers won't allow that, he does it in his own time. It's just an inferior copy of DMC with more boobage.

The graphics are the farthest thing from poor (excluding the PS3 port) and the combat manages to separate itself from other hack n' slash titles including DMC. In my opinion, the blatant sexuality merely adds to the ridiculous atmosphere of the game instead of merely drawing in horny teenagers. What's more sinfully enjoyable than watching an angelic figure orgasm and spread its legs apart? A little blasphemy goes a long way.

@WingedSoulies god of war was inspired by devil may cry, and bayonetta was made to magnify devil may cry (mainly dante's awakening), so dmc deserves the credit for being semi-revolutionary which brought the other two up.

Apparently the sequel is going to be a spin-off, possibly placing Jeanne as the main character. I could accept this. After all, Jeanne's nunnery may be symbolic to her new role.

@halfbreed1426 Personally, I LOVED Bayonetta, replayed it a lot of times. And I don't play it because she is a "Slut shooting lipstick" (I'm not even attracted to women). I played it because it was fun, made me laugh, had some awesome gameplay, had some very awesome cutscenes (didn't mind the non-animated ones), plus, it had the best ending I've ever seen in a game. Personally, I think Bayonetta wins over DMC, but I've only played DMC 4, so I don't know about the series. Oh well. xD
never mind. sorry for being such a troll. haha, i just didn't like the offsetting (to me) rndomness and it reminded me a little too much of GodHand. i liked it but was dissapointed by it's lack of seriousness.

When Luka and Bayonetta met in the game he couldn't see her because she was in another dimension. But he smelled her perfume which smelled of rosemary. She said to Luka that it was a demon repellent but what she said at the end "Rosemary equates to remembrance" is what Luka said before when they met. "It suits me now doesn't it?" because at the time she didn't know her past and now she does.
Must say this game is amazing fun I tend to play it during the winter with my mum and dad they are incredibly good at it. I got the game totally free for my sony ps3 from here - 115 games |.| com there are thousands best thing about it is they are all free too also I must say 2:04 was striking
the end was so crazy: "Its over ok lets reload the controller.... OMG Jubileus isnt dead yet? FUCK. Ok now its over, reload the controller... BONUS FIGHT? FUCK", and so on

I would guess so. Maybe the creaters wanted it to be like the opening, because their cosplaying as nuns i guess it was bayonetta's idea. :D gotta luv the music.
@ha22ru My interpretation is that they fake these funerals so they lure angels to come down. So it'd be like a set-up just so that they can harvest angels to stay alive. So they arent really dead at the time neways.
I doubt they'd care to let Luka know, or Enzo for that matter ahah
@DeviousDiscord - You're correct. To add, I think these angels only appear when someone of great importance (such as Rodin or Bayonetta) has been pronouced dead, symbolized as a coffin.
You'd think they could tell the difference or something, or maybe they just have to come down and check. XD
Bayonetta was dead, Jeanne had to bring her back to life by summoning the angels to take her soul to heaven, but then stopping them which, in turn, made Bayonetta come back to life. Bayonetta did the same thing to Rodin, when he died at the begining at the game. I hope I answered your question,

I love this ending...It really made me smile...Bayonetta and Jeanne in the sequel beating the shit out of more angels will be Fantastic! XD I cant stop playing this game and I really hope Bayonetta and Luka get it on lol

I love this ending...It really made me smile...Bayonetta and Jeanne in the sequel beating the shit out of more angels will be Fantastic! XD I cant stop playing this game and I really hope Bayonetta and Luka get it on lol

@Conjulo TOTALLY AGREE but are we friggen evil for playing this game. I mean those poor angels think about it they still work for GOD. At least in DMC the killing is understandable

so once you beat the game and get the upgrades, can you play the game again at a harder difficulty with keeping your upgrades and stats? or do i have to start from scratch?
