from 5:00-10:30 or so you tube just plain sucks...why dont you guys spend some of those BILLIONS on some better servers for christ sake so I dont have to burn ANOTHER fatty .just to keep me from tossing this thing out the frickin window...jesus that shit get frustratingly OLD
I shook hands with Tommy. I didn't get a single drop of his amazing skill and talent by that (which might help me to improve my bad playing ;) ), but it was still very exciting :)
Thats is a Great Song...everyone that plays guitar should try Diggers waltz.. I have been searching for that sound for years...Thks for posting this beauty Calgary
I would be too, but the world is a big place. I think he realizes that. I learned many of his songs but still to this day I haven't gotten to see him live. And i would travel a ways for it.
Tommy Emmanuel and youtube will not let go of me! I'm so lucky to live in a time where I can look up one of my heros and watch them play. Yet, I'm not sure if I'm in complete favor of it since I wonder how musicians are going to make enough money to keep the music alive if we keep this "free music" technology headed the same direction. I feel so lucky to get to listen AND watch just by typing it in! I OFTEN TAKE FOR GRANTED WHAT TECHNOLOGY HAS MADE POSSIBLE!! Tommy teaches me every day!!
Great song...He played it in Belgrade couple of days ago.I'm so happy,I met him in backstage before the concert,we talked,I played Endless road for him,he played it for me,he gave me a set of strings,I asked him to play The Hunt for me on the concert,so he did(saying "This one's for Boris").The show lasted for 2 hours and it was the best time of my life.He is not just a great guitarist, but a great man too.
This is a great song, one of tommys finest's! I've seen him 3 times now, and was lucky enough to spend a flight with him from Belfast to Glasgow in November, such a nice man! gave tips that i will never forget!
i have one too.. its incredible how it completely stops all feedback!! which as you know is extremely damaging to amps. if your in a small room you get feedback easily, but with this its still possible but only with the grain right up ( which it never is ). so yeah it just stops feedback
he is a true inspiration in every sense of the word. I saw him live last year and I am going next month. The videos on here show only 1000th of his talent, when u get to see him live he takes u to another place quite literally.
i saw him last night in Nashville, and as good as these videos are, if you EVER get a chance to see him in person it is like night and day... my god, what a virtuoso musician... how can all that talent fit on one stage? AND... the fact that he shares everything he has learned is freakin' remarkable! After playing for 3 hours he spent another hour and a half just talking with people getting autographs. What a class act! :-D
@bigdood oh yes! Saw him this year in Zurich. I've been a fan for years. But seeing him live its something completely else. Right from the moment he plays the first note you're captured. Its unbelievable :)

I fully agree. He's an amazing artist and a wonderful person.
I also strongly recommend to go and see him live if you get the opportunity
