This is not the first time I am listening to such philosophy, great concepts from hinduism. I've heard similar since childhood from my family, relatives, elders etc. This is how knowledge gets transfered in India and the subcontinent. The poor farmers in India have heard it, would be hearing in a similar way. It's been the same since the dawn of mankind.
