I think that's sweet. It helps develop respect for the school and good behavior. Which is sadly lacking in Europe.

@cliff01x coming from this school environment, I'd rather never see this again. It forced me to become an automaton, and I had trouble thinking and operating independantly when transfered to an American school system on my own. There are better ways to teach good behavior, and respect has to be earned.

@ryu8888 Well its obvious your not cuddly and cute and not even nice But there's always one bad apple amongst the good. I've traveled world wide and met and worked with many good and bad people, including Asians. The term cute was not meant to be patronizing to Asians, I would have used the same word irrespective of nationality. Further more I went to school in the UK in the 50's when the use of the cane was prevalent. We also sang,so don't try to lecture me on strict school discipline etc.
