Disciplinary actions should be left up to the parent. I remember as a child, I was spanked in class, and it didn't do any good. I mean, I was getting spanked for not turning in my homework. I wasn't disruptive, I wasn't messing with other kids, and I never talked back. I just had problems with focusing on schoolwork in a non-classroom environment due to high-functioning autism. All the teacher had to do anyway was tell my parents, and I'd be spanked away from the embarrassment and laughter.

The narrator of this video says that corporal punishment should not be used in high school and that makes sense. After all, a teenager in high school will not let anybody paddle them. Indeed I couldn't see a teenager letting even their parents spank them and certainly not a school administrator. bluewolverine40 must be smoking weed saying that it should be used up through high school. A teenager is too old to be paddled.

I am a young professional and rather average in my personality and a happy disposition now as an adult. I was spanked growing up as a child even in school! My parents did it wrong (with abuse), but the school did it right (simple and no emotional baggage. I appreciated that in retrospect). I intend on using spanking with my future children, but intend on following what I experienced with my school and not my parents. My husband & I cont. to discuss how we'll present this to our kids.

these experts need lay off the weed the nanny says never spank your kids i cant stand that women.i think it should be used K-12 as a last resort and concerning spanking at home, parents are afraid too spank at home as well we have government where it shouldn't be

@bluewolverine40 That doesn't mean a teenager will let anybody at school "BUST THEIR ASS," somebody at that age, as a teenager, would probably not let even their parents spank them. To paddle somebody you have to physically be able to, or they would have to cooperate. I could not see them letting a school administrator paddle them, whether their parents sign the slip or not.

@bluewolverine40 The high school student himself might be a football player. Or, he might just be really big and strong. Trying to paddle somebody like that is just plain stupid.

@bluewolverine40 From what I know, students usually go to the office to be paddled. The high school student could simply not show up at the office or simply walk off the campus ground and walk away from the school. And, as I said before, why did you remove your comment on the Getting Lucky video?
