I worked at the nearby sinisterly named Plant X (despite sounding like a UFO research facility it was just a power station) and remember this place well. There was a fantastic beef jerky shop on the main road. Coming from England, I thought I was in a film the entire time. I like to think that ZZ Top were formed there.
