  • That large albino one scares the shit out of me! It is so creepy looking!!!

  • i like to "Play catch" with mine... i will drop one pellet at a time in and see if she can catch it... i just got another one yesterday and i havnt played the game wth him yet... but this looks about like mine do

  • I never noticed the little whiskers that they have, cool!

  • I got one i think its a female her name is Miss McGelin

  • thats a big ass frog

  • I feed mine freeze dried mealworms packaged as wild bird food and readily available im most diy stores, since feeding them on this they readily breed im thinking maybe it because mealworms are high in proten.....

  • love the music you chose for this cute vid

  • mr. jiggles...

  • No offense, but that is the ugliest damn thing ever lol.

  • My grandparents got one of these guys back in the 70s'. I remember having it nip me or try to grab my fingers. That beast lived for almost 2 decades. I never wanted one, just fascinated by them.

  • Go frogs go! Eat it all! Nom nom nom!

  • Albino is,awesome.

  • Holy Shit I'm scared now Bro!

  • damn!! those are pretty big frogs!

  • hahaha just watching the small one try to eat the pellets, then suddenly the mammoth albino acf comes swooping down to take the kill

  • what kind of food do you feed them? Whenever i put my food on the bottom, it dissolves within a couple of minutes.

  • hahaha never seen these before

  • Herp Derp all the way!

  • my little african clawed frog is always puting the gravel in his mouth is that a problem i mean he spits it back out but still its odd

  • @cartoonfreack328 These frogs are greedy and will try to eat anything they can fit in their mouths! Many people recommend 'bare bottom' tanks as gravel is small enough for the frog to swallow - which can lead to blockages and death. I switched to sand for this reason, and haven't had any problems.

  • @cartoonfreack328 the frogs actually looked hungry but wernt eating every bite they took... they spit all the food right back out like they didnt like it

  • @cartoonfreack328 depends on whether or not he's swallowing any - they get pretty carried away when eating (especially live worms, try it!) You may need to get a larger type of gravel though as i'd imagine it'd be uncomfortable to pass! Sand is always a winner ;)

  • awesome ihave 3 plz subscribe

  • I seriously can't stop watching how cute they are!!!!!!

  • se pueden comer? XDD

  • 0:29 hey! Get off my head!

  • I know these frogs get large but that white one is over weight you can see the fat wobbleing.....

  • Hi. Is aquarium salt safe for albino water frogs? thanks

  • This is definitely a 5 star vid, easy! But anyway, I help you out by watching your vids, do you think you could check mine out? I have newts, anoles, fish, treefrogs, aquatic frogs, toads, and some shrimp. And I explore local forests, canals, rivers, and ponds in search of herps and fish. And I post vids every Sunday and Monday, I think you'd enjoy it, thanks!

  • i just got one of these they are so cool

  • nom nom nom

  • LOL fat frogs

  • crazy frog - axle-f

  • I love those! I have a video of my two African clawed frogs. One is a female and the other is a male, both are albino, I think, but the pet store dyed them so one is slightly pink and the other green... They live in a 5 gallon tank but are getting an upgrade soon. :)

  • @DewleafWolf

I don't think they dyed them xD

My Female albino is slowly turning pink O_o Maybe it has something to do with the skin shedding..

  • @KitraxVulpes Really? That's really strange! Maybe it is normal. Mine are starting to lose the color anyway, but I'm pretty sure it's because they are shedding their skin. By the way, is that sand in your tank as the substrate? I'm using river sand for the vivarium I'm building, so I starting using the sand for my hermit crab tank and turtle tank as well. I'm wondering if I should go with river sand for my African clawed frogs, too, but I don't know if that or regular gravel would work better.

  • Awww I'm sorry that Sparticus died D:

Your frogs are huge.. o_O what's the size?

My albino froggle, Gwen, sure is a tiny thing.. I own a small starter aquarium and I'm not sure if she can live there for a long period of time, because they do grow, right?

    Very fitting song btw xD

  • Cool! Where did you get the mulleri? I've only seen laevis in the pet stores where I live.

  • hillarious ty for this vid it made me chuckle

  • greedy little bastards lol

  • I uploaded a video of my african clawed frogs eating and swimming with this exact music and the Copyright Nazis took it down in less than 3 hours. I'm glad they didn't snipe out your video because it's great!

Those clawed frogs sure do love to eat, don't they?

  • the albino ones are fatter for some reason...

  • i have a question, how old is the big frog, the albino one, i have the same type of frog, i just want to know becuase mine is pretty small, he is 6 almost, can i expect him to get that big?

  • love the smiling from 2:18 to 2:20

  • @fdkf08 i saw to it was like haha food i shall eat you now and call you mine

  • my frog seems to pass gas every time he surfaces! I am, not kidding. it's like he gulps air, dives, and farts as he resurfaces. anyone elses frogs do this??

  • I'll be honest I was scared after watching this ( not really) ok maybe....... No I wasn't

  • This is making me want to get frogs again. I had a pair of these years ago and they were really awesome pets...I loved to hear them "sing"....hmm I may just have to do that.

  • There not animals silly!

    They are hovers!

    :D

  • LOL! That big albino female rules the roost.

  • there so funny espicialy with the music cuz they stuff like 5 in there mouth then they spit it all out and stick out there hands and ther like WHERE THE HELL DID MY FOOD GO

  • oh it's mancinis elephant walk too lol

  • Lol 0.00-0.05 The frog looks like it's dancing to the music! ^_^

  • the white frog is a female. females grow bigger

  • how big is the albino? and how old(in the video) :D i have one he is only about 1 inch or not even and 5 months today :D

  • This is brilliant, i love the music called? it goes so well lol. can ya let me know ? pleeeeeease :-D

  • Feed them with bloodworms. They enjoy them much more :)

  • Great video I have two ACF's any idea of how I can tell their sex? One croaks alot and is much bigger than the other and the small one never makes any noise please help I would love to know and it sounds like you know a lot about them

    Thanks

  • @kitterpuss makes sense now :D cute froggies

  • what are those pellets you feed them??

  • What gluttonous creatures. Those things must shit up your tank in a week.

  • how big can they get?

  • That is Creepy. They look like people . You know the way they grab the food.

  • Great music and these wonderful frogs put on a hilarious show.

  • Time at 0:32 was fucking hilarious. NAM NAM NAM

  • stop at 0:02 is he/she lab bred or something couse mine doesnt have that catfish look :s

  • @gabrielagust - the small ones are a different breed of clawed frog called Xenopus Mulleri. This breed have visible sub-ocular tentacles under each eye which gives them that 'catfish look' :) Its like a left over from when they were tadpoles. You probably have a Xenopus Laevis, which is the most common breed sold in pet shops, and the same kind as the big white one.

  • @Kitterpuss can they eat pellets i got one today but i feed it earthworms so i was also wondering if it can eat pellets like the ones ont the bottom of your tank

  • @thehamsterlove1 Yup they can eat pellets - check the info under my video - I have included some links to where these pellets can be purchased. :)

  • @thehamsterlove1 thanx

  • @thehamsterlove1 i had a really nice african frog and it died because it choked on an earth worm. RIP.

  • arent you afraid of the albino eating the other frogs ?

  • Your frogs are gorgeous!

  • this is a sweet video,I myself have 3 of these guys, and they are the coolest creatures ever,I have a 55 gallon tank,Will i need to get a bigger tank? And how long have yours?but a very cool video.

  • How big is the albino???? shes huge!! sorry if this gets asked a lot

  • i have a really small one but i've had him for about a year now and he's in a 10 gallon tank. if i got another one would that one eat him?

  • how many gallons is that??

mine is spoiled hes an adult that has a 30 gallon to himself and loves it :]

  • these things look the cookie monster chowing down.. ME WANT COOKIE!!

  • Those look so fake! Are they real?

  • How long should it take them to get this size? Mine have been frogs for about 2 months and they haven't grown much, I've checked and they aren't dwarf, they are indeed clawed

  • dwarf if your a starter... easyer to mantain......... and the clawed if you have all the supplies and know what your doing

  • hey i have a urgent question should i get 2 african clawed frogs or a bunch of african dwarf frogs?

  • Totally hilarious and cute. You took me back to my childhood with the music. There was a zoo show i used to watch on tv that played that song. I've actually teared up thinking about it. Memories last a lifetime. Take care my friend. Continued success with your frogs.

  • I love how it uses it hand to eat so cute.

  • these guys are huge

  • lol the albino one came out and was like get the fuck out of here that is my food bitch.. i will eat you

  • man..theyre so cute, lol. i use to have 2 which i didnt know what they ate so i had to hand feed them for 10 minutes atleast 2 times a day dried shrimp

  • LOL! The Yellow one was chubby >.< its interesting how they eat ;o

  • The albino one is so cute!

  • Frogzilla XD

  • the yellow one is HUGE

  • they look like sock puppets lol

  • look at that fat yellow one!

  • i'm sorry she's gone.. god this is adorable! hehe! i hope you continue on! she brings me joy and her man-harem! :D to this day! :D :D

  • Oh my god - I love this! I love frogs in general. These are piggies! How huge is the albino one!!!

  • theses frog will try and eat anything they can fit in there mouth so yeah its not a good idea to keep there with smaller fish and if u do move them make sure u have 10 gallons of water per frog i keep 2 in a 39 gallon i have a male and a female and omg they mate way way way too much tads outa the azz so make sure u watch out and try not let that happen or teh female can die from it once every 3 months if u can help it

  • Mine tried to eat all my fish. If that helps. It even eat my Pleco.

  • how old is the big one

  • Your video excites me as I have one of my own growing up. Couple of questions. I have had mine for slightly under a year and he his healthy, just wondering how long it takes to become an adult. Alsooo I have several comets that are fairly large. Any chance they could live together? Even as an adult I can't imagine the frog could eat the goldfish on account of their size. anywhoo any info would be great :)))

  • I wanna get one of these frogs. Any idea what they eat lol?

  • i have 2 had 3 but the others killed it

the other 2 ar massive and dead fat

i feed them blood worm or crickets

  • Wow! Your albino shocked me with its large size!!! I have a question... it seems like they aren't eating very well and are struggling to get the food down.. Now I don't know, I don't keep frogs, just fish, but I am considering starting a frog tank and I just wonder if this behavior is normal? I'm not judging or anything, I'm just wondering... thanks! :-)

  • can you take them out and hold them

  • Yeah, but only for a short time and as long as your hands are clean. I wouldn't take them completely out of the tank, though - they usually freak out and jump out of your hand when held.

  • What are they trying to eat ? ?

  • we have them in a community tank with clown loaches fed them today with prawn in the greedy commotion the big one swallowed a clown loach whole my mrs was mortified!! been living together happily for about 3 yrs the frogs that is hope he has a belly ache greedy ba***rd

  • nom nom nom....sorry i had to

  • i thought the first frog was huge, but then the albino one comes crashing in. lol!!

  • very cute, love these guys, great video

  • dang how did it get soo big?

  • omg such butes, oh and very pretty cage =)

  • Oh my goodness. That is just the cutest thing ever.

Also, music enhances cuteness by like 1,000%. Nice choice. :)

  • They do look like aliens. o_O

  • this is a great video! I liked when the white one comes in and is like twice the size of the first one. it was like a monster movie! and the music was fun.

you might get more than 10 more years with your buddies. we had an acf (mr. frog) who lived to 23!

  • I've just bought a baby xenopus laevis..oh my God, the more they grow up, the cutier they become *.*

  • the beginning kinda scared me because he is kinda ugly lol

  • reminds me of kermit the frog lol

  • lol

  • Looks like the albino froggie has bloat. You can get the smallest insulin needles and drain the fluid under the skin. Just look up treating bloated ACFs on Google. I also think that these frogs are big enough to eat earthworms. These lil froggies can get compacted eating pellets, and yes goldfish (the big, fantail type-1 frog I had died from eating a goldfish). Your froggies would be real happy on earthworms.

  • Um, no, that frog is just fat. lol

Dropsy disease causes a MUCH bigger bloat than that, and it is usually more round in shape, and it usually makes the frog float. This frog just has a healthy appetite.

Compacted? What do you mean by that? I'm wondering because i've fed my 3 yr old male nothing but pellets its whole life. It has never seemed to have a problem with them, though.

  • thats a greedy toad! leave some for me! jk i dont eat frog food but still! great vid!

  • ahahahah jolly fellows

i always thought mine looked like an alien o_o

  • is that sand in the bottom ? where can you get it ?

  • I love the song you have for this!

We used to have one that seemed to have some sort of persistent upset stomach or something. We called him "Teabag"

  • He's a cute little guy.

  • Your frog ispretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen

  • I was very upset. A year and a half earlier, she started bloating, then she would be fine. Then she would bloat, and then she was fine. Finally, she retained fluid and her skin rippled with the filter. I knew that was not good!

  • My youngest 9 frogs are 8 years old now, so I must be taking care of them right. I did have one that was Sneetch's sister that I took to the vet and they put her to sleep. They did an autopsy and found she had a tumor "the size of a plum" next to her liver causing her to retain water.

  • I was shocked when the other yellow came !!! :)))

I have 2 acfs. I think they are quite juvenile compared to this frogs. Actually, I had 3 of them. But found one completely dried on the floor :( There is something I wish to ask. I keep them with my fish in a big tank. Black neon tetra, and cherry barbs are included. When frogs grow up, they'll eat the small fish ?

  • I almost lost one that way too - but luckly I was in the room when he jumped - he squeezed throught the cable hole in the lid of the tank!

Theres a good chance the frogs will go for the fish - anything they can fit in their mouths usually becomes dinner. If they try to eat the barbs, the sharp fins could hurt them - Ive heard of people losing both frog and fish this way!

  • @Kitterpuss Sometimes even if they have been out of water for a few days if you put it in some water they could come back. I did that he jumped out of the tank and found him a week later dried in a closet, soaked and the next day he needed some help but was fine. Both of mine are only 13 to 15 years old at this time. I did lose one a few years ago when she attempted to eat a pleco the size of herself the barb pierced her and lost both. No more fish in the tank. I have a 29 gallon for the girls

  • yah they will eat anything! especially when they get to the sixe you see in the video.

  • @uwsmrt My grandmother has these frogs and she introduced them when they were small and some fish at the same time and they've grown together over the years and get along fine... However, when she thought they might tolerate a new fish being introduced, they ate the newbie, fish and frogs both double teamed it lol :(

  • @uwsmrt

Keep your fish bigger than the African Clawed Frog as they're very aggressive to smaller fish.

  • my tank is a very small tank it only weghs about half a pound very small tank no light no filter i clean his tank about once a week i feed used to feed him 2 a week but he wasnt eating so i thought i might be over feeding so once a week.the water temperture is a little warmer than my 35 gallon and slightly warm.and i feed him frozen blood worms he used to eat those and swallow them hole.and i do a full change

  • Right, I'm no expert, but I think the main problem here is the tank size. With a small tank, there is not enough water for the 'good bacteria' to take hold. Good bacteria eats the bad stuff that harms fish and frogs. You get good bacteria in a process called the 'nitrigen cycle'. Also a small tank you will have to change all the water as you say, but this might be shocking the frog. Get a larger tank, and only change a third or half the water every week. And a good filter too.....

  • @Kitterpuss Maybe you're not an expert but you are completely right! The tank is way too small and you should never change all of the water!

Also, Xenopus don't like to live alone. You should think about giving him a friend.

I'm not trying to bash you billymac123454321, but please take good care of your frog.
