My avast antivirus didn't find enything. What can i do ? Please enyone help!
i ended wininit.exe before then i got the bsod then i restarted it and it said somthing but it had choicres like windows normaly or launch system repair i tried both and launch system repair would just take me to that same screen and start windows normaly would just restart
Does it break your computer? If you restart, will it crash again if you don't do it again? If not so, I will try it! It's an awesome glitch, I can prank my family with this :-P
So you launched task manager, elevated your user token to administrator access and ended a critical system process and you're calling this a glitch with the OS?
This would be the same as going to medical school, removing someone's heart, and then calling it a glitch when the patient died. It's exactly why those annoying secure desktop prompts were introduced.
yes this happened to me - i was merrily closing stuff, then i closed wininit, expecting it to tell me off - instead my screen faded to black, then alarmingly became very, very bright - it looked like it was melting, everything was locked so i had no option but to pull the plug - needless to say, scared the shit out of me!
It was Vista. Actually, exactly the same thing has happened a few more times lately. Except it's been happening spontaneously with no interaction from me. I'm pretty sure it must be software-related, cos I reset my ATI catalyst options to default values and changed a few other things, and it hasn't happened since. Usually the mouse freezes and the screen goes black and then the weird ultra-bright melting effect. Mind you, I'm getting used to it now =]

Its not a glitch. When you are about to close a process it warns you.
