@jmen4ever I'm a huge Clyde McPhatter fan but Clyde's cover version of the Slim Harpo original classic tries way too hard to imitate while being a bit too "glitzy" at the same time. Harpo's original version ended up putting the great Baton Rouge blues man into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This particular version (Warren Storm's) was purposely arranged to add a "swamp pop" sound out of respect and honor for the late Slim Harpo, a fellow Louisianian musician of Warren Storm's.
nice cover, but clyde Mcphaters knocks it out of the park.
