VW Rabbit's MKV is pure German made. great quality interior and very solid. why ?? I own one. Also, on the day they delivered my car,I open the compartment to place my insurance card, reg and license, I found 6 pages of invoices and manifest written in German. must have been from Wolfsburg Assembly Facility

VW is doing a great job and they are now catching up in the market. they have very nice new models coming out like the passat CC concept. not to mention the other good car brands under VW autogroup. audi's lambos etc

thefirstapex - you cannot buy both, the Rabbit replaces the Golf for 2007. VW dropped the Golf name in favor of the Rabbit name hoping people can remember the car better by its classic name. I invite you to find a 2007 Golf at your local dealer... you won't have much luck.

Wrong. the Mark V Golf IS the Rabbit...or the Rabbit is the Mark V Golf. VW doesn't want to call it the Golf anymore. we don't get the "Golf." but we have the "Rabbit." same thing only different engines. i can't wait for the diesel!

actually they STILL sell the golf in canada, BUT its a "city" golf, built in mexico, based off the mk IV design.
