Cerwin vega, the speaker that is made in china AND Mexico. Every teenager wants a pair, good for parties bad for everything else. Nothing compared to a true audiophile speaker, I am a teenager myself and I like brands like paradigm b&w and energy Polk and much more, cerwin vega is just a bunch of horn loaded tweeters that screech your ears off and punchy bass that gets annoying. Sorry bud but I have a pair of cerwin Vegas and I keep them in my garage where they belong. And the digms in my house
@ApriliaRulz I bet you got vintage or CLS(C)'s. I have the VE-Series. No horns or soft dome tweeter. Actually. If you need a good subwoofer for a cinema, Cerwin-Vega is a good choice. Deep and powerful bass that can move much and for a long time without being hot. :) The old CV sound like shit. The new series isen't that bad :)
one one reaches a certain price point with audio gear there isn't any point (IMHO) in proceeding to spend thousand on cables amps etc ... except to show off ones wealth of course.
the b&w high end speakers are the best in the world. I have a pair of 801 diamonds. they are matched with kimber speakers cables. the 3036 models. the front end is made u of wadia cd player 861 special edition and the audio research ref 3 the ps audio cleans the front end and the richard grey for the back end into my cary cad 211m tybe class a amps. all cables are kimber.
...the 'snail-shell' cabinet...does this have a deliberate technical effect in the sound-waves' ascension ...or is it purely aesthetic?
