That was a pretty awesome cover, but turn the volume of the microphone down a bit, since in Metallica songs vocals don't tend to be as loud as they were in your cover in comparison to the other instruments. Still a really good cover though.

I'm sorry, but the only time anyone should ever cover Metallica is if they are going to do the songs in an original way, like throwing in a different time signature, or doing a ballad version of a heavy song, or something crazy and different and INTERESTING. This was actually very early in the tribute bands development stage. I myslef have been singing Metal since 1984 and have always sang these songs with the idea that i would try to sing them first and then add some Hetfield growl. I am fist a singer and then a rock stylist.

Sounded pretty good! Kirk said in an interview he hit that note ACCIDENTALLY, during the solo. Just thought maybe someone would wanna know.

Just one small quibble, the solo was a bit wrong in a few places. Like the high pitched whammy squeal is done by hitting the 4th fret harmonic on the g-string, then dumping the bar and then pulling up again on the bar to get the higher note. Might wanna try that! :P

but it usually works, especially through a hot amp.
