i own an ecotec. it runs very good. just dohc sucks. they have zero low end torque. and thats not my gtx. but that gtx would eat this car with half of its plug wires removed. that gtx is bad. instant 150mph posi holeshots those ecotecs could only dream of. and that motor was built in 1980. so if your motor can go 30 years untouched let me know. dohc means lots of money cause they dont last
at least the duals on this look clean. dont see any rice muffler and its not terribly raspy. I like the duals, but its hard to tell how it sounds with all these vids being directly under/behind the tips. need a walk around and a chest high video of it driving/revving.
still, an 'eh' on the sound but a 'thumbs up' on the looks!

it didnt sound that way until i installed the magnaflow cat conv. im gonna order an acutal y pipe put 2.50 exhaust and a longer resonator then hopefully it will sound better

They "free" power that was already there in the first place. THEREFORE adding a second muffler will NOT get you more power. Mufflers do exactly that MUFFLE the sound has nothing to do with HP gains.... so explain to me again HOW EXACTLY does your statement even remotely resemble a rational thought?!

im not claiming i made power i just said i dropped a fifth of a second which i really did. a fifth of a second aint shit but i know that is why. becuase of the second muffler. flowmaster 60s are pretty restrictive if you look at the design and adding a y pipe acts as an exhaust leak. exhaust leaks in a system have been proven to free up power.
@elfpoop2 au contraire my friend...why the muffler is to muffle the sound of course, this puts back pressure on the engine so it doesn't overheat...the catback already does some of this, but the muffler helps with it...
more volume=less back pressure=hotter engine/easier header-flow=more power...

i agree it sounds a lil raspy. but at low rpms its deep, mid range its quiet inside and outside and high end its agressive and doesnt sound like a mosquito.
