I dont get propane flavor when I cook. I did'nt get charcoal flavor when I used charcoal. Just a pain in the ass amount of time to get the charcoal burning. And someplace to dump it when the fire was out. This guy is biased for charcoal.I dont need all that crap with a gas fired grill. A natural gas fired grill is even better.

I stumbled across this episode some time ago and recorded it. It's the finest instructional video on grilling I've ever seen. Alton Brown is right on target here, especially with his explanation on what fuel to use and how to use it.
I am not a fan of Alton Brown, but I must say this video was quite informative indeed. I shall be purchasing my first grill soon. I daresay that I was a bit daunted by the purchase and use of it. I feel more confident now. My burgers will turn out fantastic! Smiling.
