In the manga, Frater does in fact find out that they are related. Afraid to tell this to his sister, he begins to shut her out of his life and goes to date someone ( who actually looks quite similar to the girl in Stardust ). Confused yet raged by Frater's actions, Soror decides to kill him but regains her memories of them being siblings so she regrets it.

@nekochav I have scans of the raws that I can send to you (I downloaded them from a forum site I belonged to years ago; so I have no idea where to locate them now) but I do not have an English copy nor do I know of anyone that has translated it into English and put it online.

@Sousuke15 Each of the "ABYSS" songs (ark,barouque, yield, sacrifice,stardust) start out with that because these songs focus on Abyss looking for El (Elice) his daughter, and these are the girls he looks at to see if they are his daughter. The 5 girls >sins< make up the hell "Abyss" and he takes each of them away in order to create that hell where he and his daughter can live together. I know it's rather confusing. If you'd like more infomation I can PM you if you'd like.

@Sousuke15 It's been a favorite story of mine since I first heard the song. I've always been intrigued by human emotions and psychology. The idea that people can love each other so fully as long as society's views aren't applied is very fascinating. I don't view it in the same manner as "intense", since people can really behave in this manner due to psychological reasons, it's just a more... gruesome, human view into a not-so-talked-about topic.

@Sousuke15 It is a manga. It was published in a manga magizine called "ultra jump" in december 2006. I have a copy of the raw scans. But since it was only 2 chapters it was never made into a bound volume so it can't be purchased anymore.

@Sousuke15 They made all of ROMAN, the album after this, into a manga, and that can be fond in manga volumes. Elysion was sort of... their beginning into major music productions and stories, so it's already quite amazing they even managed a single manga chapter from it. If you hunt around the internet there are lots of fan doujinshi about Elysion; but I'd be careful, I've seen some very graphic/mature ones.

@littlerin2 the ABYSS songs are seperate stories that tie into the overall "elysion" story. For these their order follows ABYSS (ark, baroque, yield, sacrifice, stardust) but since they aren't really related it doesn't matter. For the other songs (eru no rakuen and eru no ehon and such) the order doesn't much matter either except that Side E comes before side A. if you look at my blog (link on channel) you'll be able to read more and maybe it'll help a bit.

@ThePrincessofRandom Actually, El is portrayed as a very innocent and pure girl. He mistakes these girls because of their sins which are what create "Elysion" (heaven) that is one and the same as "Abyss" (hell).

@MissChibiOverdose Sound Horizon is a music group with only Revo, the composer of the songs and music, as the only permanent member. Each album mixes in different musicians and singers. They are known as "The Fantasy Band" and each song/album focuses on an overall theme in a story-like format. Some songs have narration and introductions like a storybook would. They preform theater-like lives and use artwork to enhance their song's stories. Some of the songs, like Ark, have been made into manga.

I just realized, if you put all the parts where he says "Kanojo koso watashi..." (in order of the songs, so Ark, Baroque, Yield, Sacrifice, Stardust) together, the music box melody in the background ends up being the tune of the narration in 'El no Rakuen XD'

The song states it, as does the manga. I myself own the manga pages. The amv for 'MAD ark' does have the manga, but it took out multiple drawings and pages, and the order of many of the pictures was tampered with.

@ethickca I've never seen an English scantalation online. I've only read the original Japanese myself (lawl; I had to go to great lengths to have someone find me the magizine issue it was published in). But if I ever happen across one on a forum or website, I'll be sure to PM it to you. I know that there's scans of Sound Horizons ROMAN manga, I've read that too and I really liked it, you should check it out sometime while you hunt around for the ARK manga in english.

That is not correct. The sister and brother are test subjects, who's memories of being siblings were erased. They fell in love, and the brother manages to remember that their siblings. He begins to shut her out. Hurt, and angry, the sister tries to convince her brother to go back to how things were. An 'ark' in the form of a knife, is given to her, she kills her brother, thinking it's the only way for them to go to 'paradise' the girl is detained and the man in the mask comes to take her away.

Which MV are you referring to? There are live performances for all the songs.

If you mean the MAD ark video with the manga, only Ark and ROMAN have manga.

For stardust there is a animated video (i believe it's fanmade) by g7edwardo

If you mean translated videos I have some more on my channel and there are a few others floating around by other users.

Well, there are 5 stories. Ark, Baroque, Yield, Sacrifice, StarDust.

(I didn't sub baroque because it's not a song, just a story told in a speaking voice with some sound effects. It's about a girl who is picked on and hated who finally befriends someone and ends up falling in love with her. When she confesses to her new friend, she rejects her. Hurt, the girl slices off her friends head.)

The rest of the songs focus on a little girl named El.

are test subjects. Their memories of being siblings are earsed and the two fall in love with each other. The siblings regain their memories and the brother is almost horrified. He turns very cold to his sister and she contiues trying to win him back. Confused and heartbroken, she believes the 'ark' can take them to paradise. She kills her brother with the knife and is taken away to a room to be monitored. (con in next xomment)

Abyss is El's father. He has to live as a theif in order to care for El (El is Alice) she believes that they will go to paradise together, but sadly when they die he goes to hell and she to heaven. I've never been very sure on El and Abyss's story (every song about them differs their story). But pretty much, El is his daughter and thus he is searching for her after their deaths.
