ISU's video #3 actually would've been my favorite, but the words go by way too fast and are too wordy in general... So you guys actually have my vote considering this looks most professional. Simple, but gives it almost the "Go Green" vive. Simple also isn't a bad thing either.

I really like the opening shot. The only problem I had with the video was I wish you guys would've shown farmers combining the corn. I grew up on a farm and it's nice to see them be appreciated for their work and building the economy. I was also uneasy about the last shot. Not because it showed the old capitol (cliche yes, but iconic, ISU has nothing to compare to it) but it was just a weird pan shot in general. I thought ISU's #1 was a good idea, but a terrible acting & sound.

Those shots aren't even original and the music is super cheesy. After watching this, I said the same thing, "that's it?" Its embarrassing to keep promoting your film department with a video like this. What are hawkeyes doing, just getting gas- I can do that too. Iowa State knows what they're talking about and gives a clear message of what they are doing to support ethanol use. Go Cyclones!

@cakiebaby88 They are original shots and how would you know? Perhaps it's because when compared to the "Be True to Your Fuel Video #1", which you thought so highly of, they look too professional? And do you really want to talk cheesy? Cliché alarm clock shot followed by an over-eager story of a college student wanting to affect the world doesn't seem cheesy to you? Or how about that last "I want to fuel America" zoom-out? Regardless, nuclear fusion > ethanol.

I agree with Mustang15013. THIS IS IT? This video sucks nuts. It's like you douche bags took stock footage from a shitty independent movie and decided it was a good idea to tape the Old Capital in Iowa City. Wow guys, that's really original. I can turn on fricken Ch. 2 and see the Old Capital. Seriously, walk your nerdy asses down to Burger King, grab an application, and have fun for the next twenty years you worthless numb nuts.

Haha, really? 30 seconds of stock camera shots panning across things with some MS Paint text at the end does not mean you have a cohesive commercial. Wow.

@ornryactor 1) There isn't any stock footage. 2) MS Paint can't be integrated into the standard NLEs. 3) Maybe you should look "cohesive" up because there's nothing random in this commercial - it all flows and is relevant to the subject.
