i don't know why everyone is so unhappy about the english voices. i think they sound pretty good and fit the respective character. you should hear the german voices; ranulf sounds horrible... the only one that's quite good is zelgius

Tibarn and Skrimir have the same seiyuu in Japan :DDD and Ranulf sound better in Japanese, IMO. More fitting, I guess.

I agree with the commenter on gamefaq who said Tibarn was near girls. What the heck are they wrong? Some FE characters look like girls even if their boys.

I liked Zelgius' Japanese voice better. Both actors were pretty good, but his English voice was waaayy too deep.

My lineup:

1. Ranulf- Like his JP voice. The English voice...bothers me.

2. Skrimir- Eng>>>>>>JP

3. Tibarn- I thought both were acceptable. JP voice could have been a little louder and more excited and the Eng's "TO WING BROTHERS!"...it made me shudder a little.

4. Zelgius- Keep your Zelgius, Japan!

Zelgius's english voice is deeper than I thought it would be. Ranulf's english voice suits him just fine, it makes him sound more sarcastic than serious in some cases. Who does Zelgius's english voice anyway? And was the knight talking to Zelgius Levail?

Is it just me, but I can barely here them in the JP the music overpowers their voices. I couldn't hear Tibarn at all... Just barely hear Zelgius and Ranulf. Skrimir I could actually hear pretty clearly, but I prefer his English voice.

JPN Tibarn sounds so familiar. I like both ENG and JPN. Maybe ENG a little more.

I like both Ranulfs. They both sounded strange at first but it grew on me. They both have qualities I like. ENG Ranulf has such an odd voice. I don't think I've ever heard something like that.

ENG Skrimir all the way.

ENG Zelgius is very...commander like and cold. JPN Zelgius sounds much younger to go with his appearance :)

JPN Ranulf does not sound like a beast laguz right hand to future king, Tibarn did not prepare for a war with his "shout", Zelgius did acted but I dont like it that much. But we can all agree they can keep their skrimir XD

I prefered all of the ENG voices better, they are more in character

Personally, after watching this.

JPN Zelgius >> ENG.

All other ENG >> JPN.

The Japanese voices aren't bad, but unlike the semi-melodramatic ENG voices, it doesn't sound like the JPN actors give a shit. Sounds like they're just reading lines. Tibarn's "TO WING BROTHERS" line might sound corny, but at least he sounds tense. JPN is like, "yeah, sure...."

And obviously, ENG Skrimir is pro. Only reason JPN Zelgius is ok is because ENG Zelgius sounds monotone, JPN actually acts unlike his pals.

But, in all seriousness, the only English VA I like is Skrimir. He's epic. Zelgius, Tibarn, and Ranulf? Ehhh.... They could have been so much better.

Zelgius is at least tolerable.

While I think that Ranulf's English voice fits his character, it doesn't quite fit *him*. A bit too deep. Skrimir's is awesome, though.

McJesus Tibarn, what did they do to you? ;-; Well, it's not that bad, buuuuuuut...could be better. JP Tibarn sounds pro, though.

Oh, and Zelgius' voice is pretty pimp both ways.
