The FPV905 system (transmitter + receiver) is a plug and play version of the TR905 combos (transmitter + receiver). With the TR combos you will have to customize your own connections (audio, video, power) between the transmitter and the camera which can be a painful thing for many people, plus all the messy wires. The FPV combos are just plug and play if the camera is added at the purchase of the combo, it just take seconds to have it sending audio/video wirelessly.

I had a F-15 style with a 200$ fpv HD cam and the winds started to hurl when i was in flight so i turned and the wind actualy blew hard enough to cause it mid flight to spin i was going for a crash landing then my cam was going haywire and i looked up and at full speed it was flying the thrusters were stuck The FPV turned on an i saw it hit a tree and rip the wing off then it spun in a fire ball and hit the ground i go to it and recover it luckly iylt was still in tact and over 3 months i fixed

i want a camera for my rc car that has a memory card so no need for extra recievers or whatever, and it plugs into the servo of my 1:10th rc car. or it has its own battery. if anyone knows of any then could you please message me on youtube please and sub to me for some rc videos :)

I ordered the focus high resolution video glasses with the 900 mhz plug and play transmitter recently from hobbywireless. When i recieved the package it was missing a 3dbi whip antenna. The camera i ordered was the sn555 sony ntsc. Hobbywireless sent me the camera in pal format. Also When connecting the video glasses to the reciever to veiw the live video the sreen flickers on the video glasses. When i connect the the video glasses to the dvd player it works fine. Don't know whats wrong .

Cheap cameras most of the time will give poor image quality.

Do a search someone else video and make your own judgment. By searching for videos like "cheap cameras FPV...buy twice" to see an example of low cost cameras.

If you want to do it, do it right :)

is it possible to have it setup differently, so this moving camera with head tracking is under the aircraft and a fixed 1 or 2 cameras are in the place of the cockpit for the pilot to view.. then a second person can do observing on a specific target so the pilot can focus on flying.

Quality on the camera is very important, but more important is the quality of the transmitter and receiver.

If you get disappointed with your system, don't give up just take your time and put your money on a reliable wireless system.

cool! inside the canopy! i don't know why everybody doesn't do that--better aerodynamics, right? problem is you can't see as much from inside.

The reason I did with the canopy was thinking about the aerodynamics, but then I did a second flight without the canopy and no problems at all.

Go to my videos or search for - Low FPV flight with extra 300 - to see the video without the canopy.

Very cool. One can see the camera is very good, yet the plastic cover of the cockpit kinda ruins it.

Do you think you could maybe have this cockpit custom-made of optical glass? That would greatly improve it I believe.

The best thing is to remove the canopy, no plastic reflecting to mess with the image. See this other video called " Low FPV flight with extra 300 " without the canopy.

It is not a fatshark, it is the AUN905 system for a 1+ mile of range.

For a long range flight 2-3 miles I suggest the AUN1024 system or AUN1012.

We have the Fatshark PRO version now, which comes with two transmitters, one for short range flight 200-300 meters (500-600 feet) and a powerhouse transmitter for 2-3 km (1-2 miles) of range all in the same box. Awesome.

Hi yes, I wish I could give you much more detail, but using this box I will be very limited.

Anyhow, go to our website Hobbywireless com, and check the FPV905 and FPV524 they both are great systems, same performance.

We have a very nice guys at youtube using our system with a E-max truck, just search on youtube for - FPV R/C E-Maxx 4x - to give you a better idea.

i am fixing to do the same only with a small .30 size heli glow and add a larger tank with it to add some more min. and a flight stabalizing unit but not sure if it would work over tree lines etc esp in confined areas cause i think the co-pilot works only in a open field.
