I agree with Matt--I never liked coasters and never really understood why people like them so much. Haven't been on one in 25 years or so, never plan to be on one again, ever.

@Srd1126 Well you know Dave Goelz was scared of rollercoasters before that video was filmed and there is a story about that video in Fraggle rock season 2 DVD in the DVD there 's a feature about Traveling Matt and Jerry Juhl once said something about a sidekick anyway just find out for yourself.

Gobo sounds a lot like Little Jerry. I love him so much (since he's performed by my favorite puppeteer, Jerry Nelson).

BTW, this was filmed at a theme park located near where Fraggle Rock was shot.

@collgoff There's a Muppet Wiki that has a section dedicated to the Traveling Matt segments. By the way, the park was pretty new at the time, since the scene was filmed in 1982, with the park opening in 1981.

Oh you are right it is the Beast. I can see the top of the blue tent thing that was in Hana BarberaLand in one shot which was closer to that side of the park. They're both wooden roller coasters i forgot about the beast. Good eyes!

The roller coaster in this video is called Wild Beast. The one you mentioned is called Mighty Canadian Minebuster (not "Great...") and is located on the other side of the park
