I loved Culture Club in the 80s and I love this interview. Boy George has always fascinated me. Back in the Karma Chameleon days, he was not open about being gay. He used to be coy and not 'really" answer questions about his sexuality. I like the openness.

BG has one of the most soulful voices in pop music and he's right, the variety of so many musical styles in the 80's made it so great. I also enjoyed his insight in how projecting a love for the song is very powerful as a singer. George is a smart guy, had a few bumps.

They were just people who became fleetingly iconic through the New Romantic Movement of late 1980-1982, and soon lost that moment. I recently saw a documentary about the 'Blitz' years and what they left behind was a drug-ridden mess of mid-life crisis men that seem to be battling obesity, the onset of age, and mourning their long-gone youth. It was pitifully vain and sorrowful.

110464 it is easy to look at someone and make a judgment like that. But if you took any real effort to listen to what George says and how he says it you would realize that he is a very intelligent man.
And it doesn't hurt that he is also the cutesiest up there hahahahahaha

George is very intelligent. He's made mistakes like everyone. But that's his personal life and I don't care what he does in his bedroom. I love him, always have. He is an artistic genius, completely misunderstood by most people who aren't as creative as he is. That's not crazy, it's genius.

Ive met him in real life in a club in blackpool, hes a really nice guy, so polite and friendly. I never thought he would end up in jail. I dont believe any of it tho, i think he was set up :(
