everyone is always RIP Dime and he was a big influence, in 98 he signed my guitar, ironically his signature model but it was the all 4 of them that made Pantera...not just one person and without Phil's vocals..he made a whole new form and Dime was awesome but I know in person so many amazing players and to say Dime was the best is...i understand, Im one of their biggest fans but just sayin for the sake of Rex, Vinnie and Phil

@crimsondeath84 Dude, Vinnie will probably never make amends. Even if they did that wouldn't be enough. You can't be in a band with someone that you can only tolerate. Rex is in bad shape. He had to sit out on Down's last tour due to his pancreatitis. Zakke is good but NO ONE can replace Dime. It just wouldn't be the same without him. Even if all of that did come together, it would defeat the reason why Phil left in the first place. He was tired of the popularity, being owned by the label.

Where the stage was surrounded by security. That's why he started SjR. He could play small clubs where he would be close to the audience and they could even get on stage with him. Besides honestly, I don't like Vinnie anymore. He's a greedy fuck. He keeps tarnishing Pantera's name for money.

On the bright side, I'll still get to see Megadeth. Adding to what you said, Pantera is the Abbott brothers' band, so it wouldn't be right anyway.
