  • im ftm im looking for a doctor and seeing you perform the surgery, i was wondering if the bigger more fatty tissue is easier then the smaller breast. i have a D or big C and i live in ottawa ontario in canada. i like your work and im willing to get down there for ur surgery. please let me know which ones easier so i know i wouldnt have to worry. i know i have to do the bigger breast one, i just want to not worry about death in rare case senario. thanks!

  • @jacob83385

Hi, I am very comfortable performing the surgery on large breasted patients as well as small. The operation is not riskier just because the breasts are larger. If you are healthy, you should do well.

    Regards, DM

  • this is great. thank you so much for posting this.

  • Wait, you said that you do the T incision with the peri surgery, or only do the T incision if necessary (for example theres a REASON for it...)? If not, whats the reason for the T incision?

  • i have a really important question to ask. okay so im 17 and i plan on having top surgery by age 20. however i dont want hormones. i have heard that if you dont go on hormones the breast will only grow back over time, i want to know if this is true or not. thanks.

  • What do surgeons who perform this operation consider a 'small' B?

Are you referring to the numerical figure, or just the look of the breast?

Thanks so much for this video, it's very, very helpful.

  • @TheIffyIsIffy Mostly it is the look of the breast. If the skin is tight and there is not much volume to be removed then the patient is a good candidate for the peri procedure.

    Regards,

    DM

  • Do you know how bottom surgery works?

  • @sntech4000uk

Sometimes a secondary graft can work, or injection of fat or filler material to create a nipple bud

  • Is there a way to reduce the liklihood of scar stretching in someone with very tight skin?

  • @CurtisFTM

Hard to say. The goal of any surgery is to close the wound under minimal tension. I use long lasting sutures that maintain the tension until the body has generated enough scar tissue to keep the wound from stretching. I would need to see you or pictures of you to give you a more informed answer.

Why would god be ashamed? It's not like this video's about anything wrong.

  • thank you so much for this video.

  • Thank you so much, Doc, for this. I was wondering how it's done and now I know.

I just wish that transitioning was as quick here in the UK, as it seems to be in the US.

  • I have a question for you Dr. Medalie. I have a very large chest, about a DDD. I would like to have a chest reduction, like the one you demonstrated here, done to reduce my chest to a low A or a male like chest. Is an operation like this only available to FtM patients or would this be an operation you could use as a general breast reduction?

  • I wanna know, as a man of science. How does the opposite transition, MtF chest surgery work.

  • @TheoneFreeCakePro

This is much simpler. Breast implants are placed (much the same way as they are in female patients wanting breast augmentation)

  • how come you cant just take a part of the nipple in the first one ( 2:00 ) like you did in your second ( 4:32 )? is it just because of the size?

  • Thank you so much for making this video; it was exactly the explanation I was looking for.

  • I cant wait to get the chance to get this done by you. Youre very skilled at what you do and seem to be a good guy

  • You're an awesome dude. Thank you so much for making this video.

  • Hey I live in cleveland~ Anyways I've always wanted to know the female to male transformation. I already know about male to female but the opposite seems to be less mainstream but very interesting to learn about.

  • Thank you very much for posting this video.

  • This is a greatly informative video. I'm currently trying to raise the money necessary to be able to have surgery with you. I love the way your chests look and everyone I've talked to who has had surgery with you says you are amazing. Hopefully, I will be seeing you soon!

  • Thanks for the kind words. If you send me some pictures I can tell you what it might take to revise the dog ears.

  • i'm in cincinnati and am hoping to make it to you within a year for a revision. i have bad dog ears and could use some lipo but look good otherwise. i had surgery with a "non top surgeon" and she gave me a very natural looking chest by removing all breast tissue and leaving the fat since i was so over weight at the time of surgery. but i am losing weight, and my chest is losing weight too. but the dog ears are killing me! i think you are better than garramone. i have seen great results from you.
