You really can see the difference between music from 1950's to todays song lyrics. Music on the radio now is about one night stands and moving too fast. The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's were definitely about genuinely being in love with the person and caring deeply for them. Makes you wonder if people are less passionate about love today than they were in earlier years.

I'm only 25, but it feels like I was 18 only yesterday. Seriously, I remember buying a Madonna album w/ this song on it when I was like 17 or 18...7 to 8 years down the drain in a heartbeat. In the UK it was released after the fun-filled disco of Borderline, Lucky Star, Holiday, Like a Virgin and Material Girl had all been hits, she sounded like her voice was on helium in those songs, then she comes out with this, which starts in her lower register, with passion, and feeling - I was 13/14 years old at the time and still, even now, think - WOW!
