The early 80's were full of these fun silly naive teenage sex romps and the soundtrack was always filled with cool new wave tunes! Best time to be a teenage in IMO and I'm so glad I was one of them back then! I remember Fast Times at Ridgemond High, Last American Virgin, Zapped, then the Molly Ringwald and Patrick Dempsy movies during the mid 80's.

I lived in the Valley back then--remember the malls, girls, everything in the film basically. There's nothing but Mexicans in Encino now. The SF Valley is poor, dirty, gang infested, and filled with graffiti. I mean, the world as described did actually exist at one time--including all of the beach scenes, hopping parties with white kids etc. But it's nothing like that now. Good lord.

Repoman is also worth watching for the SFV of the early 80s.
