Does it matter if they're not really gay? That's the same as saying that no other pairings are possible because they aren't actually together in the manga. If you think about it, SasuNaru would be a possible couple because Naruto and Sasuke are really close, and Sasuke hates everyone else. Meh.

Yeah but Sasuke is the most stick up his ass guy ever and will never EVER fall for Sakura(or not in my world). Thus he would only use her, and eventually, she would find out. I find the less... irritating couples better. Plus, EVERYONE likes SasuSaku even though it's not all that good. Crushes are only that: crushes. Sakura barely even knew Sasuke when she 'loved' him.

Sorry to cut in but, viz media and Masashi kishimoto sent out a message saying NaruSaku was the only realistic couple. Since its not a yaoi that was pushed away. They said that SasuSaku was impecable because they are too opposite and Sasuke would end up ruining her life. NaruHina wasn't right because It was 1 sided and was only a crush that fades away gradually in Shippuden. NaruSaku was the only logical couple. Go o candyomletts page and fine the article. It's great.

naruto and sakura havent hooked up yet but in the most previous naruto in jappan shippuden naruto sorta went on a date with her but naruto was broke so they couldnt go but aside from that there are so many clues and it makes it pretty obvious there will be a relationship sakura sometimes even blushes when shes with naruto
