Outside of national parks, most lions that get killed are killed after they attack people or their livestock and I have no pity for them and if you do you can always come on over to Africa and relocate the man-eaters to your neighborhood then you can preach the conservation nonsense from the afterlife. Extinction is a part of life (we do have parks so they'll survive, but thankfully they've been wiped out of large swaths of Africa)...

What gorgeous creatures these cats are. To watch them move, hunt, play, and stalk is just a blessing.
