In the early 1950s my family lived in Corpus Christi, Texas and I remember watching The Spade Cooley Show on television, Spade was very popular, and then he just sort of disappeared. I didnt find out what happened to him until many years later.
Could these clips be from the TV show? I thought that Smokey Rogers and Joaquin Murphey split along with Tex Williams. Ditto for Deuce Spriggins and Carolina Cotton.
that was great my grandfather played with him in the 40s or 50s
