peugeot,landrover,jeep,citroen are all rated below alfa for reliability. I know alfa has a reputation but now the are matching quality and passion. the came 24th out of 34 manufactures in the TG survey this year.
The proofs in the pudding, the reviews for this rubbish is awful, low scoring with jdpower customer satisfaction, worst car for breakdowns according to road rescue operators, and they should know, also worst in the jdpower surveys.

WTF are you on about? The proofs in the pudding? Mines always sailed through MOTs etc. I've come across a couple of VWs and some Japanese suv things but never seen one of these on the side of the road so far.
My customer satisfaction rates pretty high for the 156 petrol V6.

I would rather go with what the experts say, and they say quite clearly that alfa's are badly built and unreliable, SuperAuto done longterm tests on all cars, to high miles, italian and french cars they declared failed badly in every respect, they decided to zero score them, as they where so awful:)mwa

Im sorry I no someone who has owned 6 Alfa 156s and has not had any problems with them but the key is service them regularly, use the right type of oil and inspect the cooling system regularly. Exellent charismatic cars!
