I could sit and listen to these for a good long time, Tim. You mix your technical advice with the philosophy behind it in a relaxed and masterful way. Nor does it hurt that the drawing we're seeing evolve onscreen is so exquisitely beautiful.
What kind of pastels do you use, and what surface are you working on to be able to have the pencil lines lift up and to be able to still accept pastel? I must not have caught it. Thanks for the most fantastic exhibition and instruction for pastel . . . representational art. I do appreciate most forms of art, but this is my heart's desire and pleasure. Please keep this coming, I am so inspired.
And what is your email address? The one I sent to you came back.
@dawnlynnart3 Hi Dawn, thank you for your encouragement. I work on masonite that I treat with marbledust and gesso. My favorite pastels are Holbein and winsor and Newton. If you are interested in a dvd I am working on, please let me know and let me know more about your work. reptile333@yahoo.com
You sound like Taub from House.
