The 13th amendment was intended to prevent the newly released slaves (actually more white than black, sadly thats lost on history), from having ever being put back into slavery. In fact, if you read the congressional records in 1860's, they specifically brought up that the 13th amendment wasnt intended to be used for what we now call "anchor babies".

Obama is selling us down the river. All he cares about is getting reparations for the black people and greasing the palms of Mexico and other countries. I wrote a letter to my Senator. I know any politician would ever use my idea. Maybe it's too radical. My idea is to use stimulus money to hire border guards, ICE agents and give jobs to workers building the border fence. Then begin a bounty program that says if you notify ICE about someone being here illegally and they deport them, you get $100. How many calls do you think ICE would be getting then? Illegals wouldn't stand a chance once a bounty was put on their head, and it's easy money for unemployed Americans

Illegal immigrants are consumers and they create a demand for professionals such as architects and construction workers (to build more houses.) Also according economists the immigrant workforce help increase average wages for American born workers.Try to see both sides

@callateelosico123 Tell that to the 18% of the workforce that is currently underemployed, or unemployed. It is a false premise to say that they increase average wages. My father worked in construction for nearly 40 years, and had to leave it because of illegals getting $7-10/hr, while a skilled, union and legal American tradesmen was getting over $22-30/hr in the 1980's/90's. Companies simply stopped hiring the American tradesmen which also had to be paid other benefits and taxes too!
