  • Very good advice. I also have a lamp much like yours I use in my "studio" with chroma key and general photography. Very inexpensive lamp, yet very effective. I like the tip about varying wattage bulbs.

Here's another idea for you. If you need strong lighting, there is a dual halogen shop lamp on a pole you can buy for around $40. I'm planning on getting one for better chroma key.

Anyway, keep up the great work...

  • first, i adore that kitchen...

anyway, i bought a standing work light, has 2 halogen (i think?) like what people would use working on a car, whatever. extremely bright, too much. i hang a sheet of blank paper over the front to diffuse some of that and aim it up. still lots of shadows and bright spots. i really need these lighting tips!!!!

  • ah cool video and tips thanks !

  • Hey Robo ..

  • You're a coo dude M8.. those lights are a cheaper alternative and great idea. It's my biggest issue right now, I got the yellow 500 watt ones, wayyyyy to bright, and mega shadows. thanks

  • Hey Pippilly -

I hear ya, lighting is way tricky indoors. I am glad this vid provided some help and ideas. I will be posting more vids about lighting to my series...
