Just a bit of advice you shouldn't use afro picks with metal on it, it actually eats out (slices) your hair..

Thank you!! I'm new to YouTube and have searched for all the nappy hair vids to look for hair similar to mine and see how you manage. My hair is very similar to yours and hurts to wash and detangle. I usually fight with may hair and comb MIGHTY amounts out o my head. Then put in a weave and forget about it!  I'll try your method and get back to you.

you did a great job on detangling.. im gonna try to detangle with just my fingers but i get tired and just use the big shower comb... i like to use suave too i just started using it this month and so far it has worked pretty good

Thanks. I get tired sometimes myself, which is why the sections really help...I dont have to do it all at once like I would if I tried to do this while I showered. Which Suave conditioners do you use?
