This is from someone who have been at it with the bank for 2 yrs and got nothing to show for it. Now I am late for 5 months and the bank is calling everyday to try and work out something with me. Before this, nothing from the bank except loss your papers, please send them again, didn't receive any of your papers requested....etc....

It's not a myth, Genius. Been there done that. Have you deal with the bank while you're still able to make your payment? Banks don't want to deal with you when you are still able to pay them. The only sure way to proof to them that you can not afford your home is when you are behind on payments.
