Google wave should be an independent program.

You can make a Site-Specific Browser (search it if you don't know what that is), or if you are a Mac user, you can use Waveboard (which adds some features).

Google wave sounds like the way to the future. I have used virtual classroom in college on our local system and its great. With google wave being more widespread than our campus vle i think its potential in todays market will have a great effect on how we use the internet in the future. I think google wave will be great when it is released and really take advantage of having all your applications running in one place simultaneously which can only be a good thing in my opinion.
