i have the same remote, and on the description it says that it supported bulb. but when i press the button, it doesnt keep the camera open, i have to hold down the button. is tehre anyway to make it so if i just press the button once, bulb will go on and stay on til i press the button again?
@TheNoNameUsername How bulb mode works seems to be a function of how the geniuses at Canon want it to work. Using the shutter release on the camera requires holding the button for as long as you want the shutter to remain open, so I don't imagine there's any way that an aftermarket product can improve on that unless there's a (bootleg) firmware fix. While I'm at it, would it be so damn hard to allow a cable attachment like back in the days of film cameras?
@nate42nd Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying that. I was just wondering about the colour of the cable. Based from their website(aputure), the cable cord is black. How come yours is grey? I know it's not really that big of a deal but I'm just curious. Coz I thought black is better suited for the t1i :)
@snitchma02 This unit has a different cable for each camera. They components are all the same except the cable. It is made to fit the specific jack of each camera.
Nice little gagdget, I bet it comes in real handy. Just a suggestion, you should if you have time post a montage of some of the photo's you have taken, maybe not all 4000 or so, but maybe some of the best ones. I also like to dabble in photography a little myself, so for me that would be real interesting.
@TylertheGeek28 Thanks Tyler. I am trying to come up with some good content related to Windows and computers in general. Keep watching and thanks again.

do you have to be in front of the camera to be able to use the remote shutter?

@snitchma02 No, this is radio controlled. You can be anywhere within about 100 feet. (or more)
