The seventh-day Sabbath is a commandment of God - the 4th - not Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week. If God asks us to remember to rest on the 7th day, then why shouldn't we? Why rest on another day when He specifically says the 7th day? If you break the 4th commandment by working on the 7th day, then you're guilty of breaking God's law. Jesus did mention in Revelation: Here's the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.

I am a SDA and I use the 'Clear Word' as a reading bible only. I use the NASB or NKJV to study the scriptures. As for the sabbath keeping. It's mention in Gen 2:3 that GOD blessed that day and made it Holy. The word here is 'Holy'. You can worship God any day, but the seventh day which is Saturday is a special day of which the SDA worships God and be in communion with our Creator. It's also a day to spread the gospel.

And the bible states that God excuses ignorance, but not willful ignorance, because you want to do what is convenient or comfortable to you. Also, for Acts 20:7 on King James Version, you can preach/worship ANY day of the week as long as you set aside the seventh day (Saturday) for worship. In other words, you can worship all you want as long as you do it on Saturday for sure. So, the point is not to do your own satisfaction on the Sabbath. I have to comment on 1:16. I havn't studied too in depth, but, the bible said to worship on the SEVENTH day. If you look at the calendar, the days are in order from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Clearly, Saturday is the seventh day. Read the Fourth Commandment and you'll see. It says "Keep the Seventh Day Holy" to shorten it up. anywayz, I got no more room to talk, so you don't have to approve this if you don't want to...but that's my belief

IT's been proven by psychologists that whatever beliefs a person holds, will only be confirmed by the things that person reads/sees/hears. Perhaps, you interperet the info. you find in SDA sources as you do b/c you've already a preconceived notion as to what SDA's are all about.

Perhaps, that is how you are interpreting scripture through a narrow view and you have learned preconceived notions that the SDA is correct because that is all you have been exposed to, or you have not studied to see if the SDA doctrine is sound. I have often wondered that if the Bible says it is God's grace that causes us to be saved why do the SDA members place more importance on the law rather than grace? It is like they get up to the cross of grace and then turn back to the law.
It is true that salvation is a free gift for which we can do nothing to earn. However, once saved are we able to keep sinning? Paul says in Romans 6:1-2-- "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" In other words, we are saved, but we still follow the commandments of God as Jesus instructed us to not because we have to to be saved, but because we love Him.
Until members of the SDA begin to question the doctrines and study for themselves they will never see the many deceptions they are faced with. Pray often for them.

The "Clear Word Bible" isn't an official Bible for the SDA nor do they condone its use. I'm sure members do use it, but it's not SDA 'authorised' as it were.

What I don't understand is why the SDA just ignore the Resurrection of Christ. "The Lord's Day" has structured the history of Christianity for two thousand years. It is not just some part of the weekend, it is a Holy Day, yet the SDA mock it as meaningless and evil. I have made several videos discussing the sabbath based on prophecy and other scripture. As for the SDA thinking he was sleeping in which he was not is not part of our salvation. His Resurrection completed the mystery of our salvation and redemption.

Anyway read 1 Corinthians 15 pay close attention to verse 13 through 24 and understand the resurrection and it's completeness. Also the SDA do disrespect the Lords day when they associate it will the mark of the beast and call those who worship the Lord on His day evil.
i dont remember realm of the dead in the bible, when laserus woke he said nothing, when the little girl woke she said nothing, for what can you say about a dreamless sleep, one night you lie down in bed and the moment you close your eyes you wake up and its morning, jesus said to the robber "from this moment on you will be with me" the robber died shortley, jesus said that because the robbers next concious thought is in the resurection, but the robber was dead for many years so he was asleep.
The realm of the dead is "Sheol." "place of the dead" or the "place of departed souls/spirits." The New Testament Greek word for hell is "Hades," which also refers to "the place of the dead." The abode of the saved was called "Paradise" and "Abraham's bosom." The place of rest, where the souls of the saints resided, till Christ had opened heaven by his death. Lazarus of Bethany was dead, not sleeping. Jesus makes this clear as well as the scripture tell us he had been dead four days and by the time Jesus arrived the body was stinking. Martha thought he would be raised on the last day, but Jesus showed her he had power over death Jhn 11:25 and raised him then. Read John 11:14-24 for the complete understanding of this resurrection.
We also learn of the place of the dead when Christ tells the parable of the unjust steward and of the rich man and Lazarus (the beggar). See Luke 16:19-31.
It is very clear about where the good and evil went before Christ opened up Heaven on the Cross. After Christ ressurection the graves opened and the [saints] ressurected. Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints [holy people] which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves [after his resurrection], and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. See Matthew 27:49-53.
As for the robber, he was with Christ as promised..no where in scripture does it say he was dead many years. He went to Paradise with Christ also known as Abraham's bosom, the abode or place of the dead we know Christ has the keys and power over death and hell. Eph 4:9-10 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he [also descended first] into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Rev 1:18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. We didn't really address the Lord's day much further because the discussion moved to soul sleep. Which is only taught by Jehovah witnesses, Seventh day adventist and Church of God which believe there no immortal soul and we all just go back to the ground unconscious sleep until final judgment and either make it to heaven or get annihilated and no such place as an everlasting hell. How do you explain Ecclesiastes 9:5 - "The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing." or Daniel 12:2 - "Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace." If people are living forever in heaven (or hell for that matter), why don't they know anything? Why will they be raised at some other date?
Well, according to Strong's concordance, "spirit" in this verse is from the Hebrew "rûah" which is translated as "breath" or "wind" - esp "the Spirit of God". Need I direct you to Gen 2:7 - "Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the mans nostrils, and the man became a living person." The word "breath" here is translated as "breath" or "blast of breath". Soooo, the spirit that returns is simply the breath of life that God gave.
Don't cherry pick through the concordance, there is many ways that spirit is translated with context of the rest of scripture. There are videos on soul sleep where I have address the sda false teaching of annihilation of the soul, or soul sleep, no hell etc.
Why would there be a verse explaining something that was understood? According to

I keep the Sabbath because Jesus did and there is no command from Him nor any of His followers to change that. According to Jesus Himself in the next verse (Matthew 5:18): "I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

The seventh-day Sabbath is a commandment of God - the 4th - not Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week. If God asks us to remember to rest on the 7th day, then why shouldn't we? Why rest on another day when He specifically says the 7th day? If you break the 4th commandment by working on the 7th day, then you're guilty of breaking God's law. Jesus did mention in Revelation: Here's the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.

David did both yet the bible clearly says he was a man after God's own heart. The Sabbath should be treated like any other commandment and breaking it is no excuse. We live by grace but Romans 6:1 forbids sin under grace.

I am a SDA and I use the 'Clear Word' as a reading bible only. I use the NASB or NKJV to study the scriptures. As for the sabbath keeping. It's mention in Gen 2:3 that GOD blessed that day and made it Holy. The word here is 'Holy'. You can worship God any day, but the seventh day which is Saturday is a special day of which the SDA worships God and be in communion with our Creator. It's also a day to spread the gospel.

The Clear Word Bible as i have just researched and knew nothing about after being in the church for 21 years is not used by Adventist. It was not produced by Adventists. A certain adventist individual did his own paraphrase for his devotional purposes and was encouraged to publish it. It is his individual publication and not used by the church.

The yes or no question at the beginning doesn't make sense. That's like asking "Are you saved if you give your heart to Jesus but still fornicate?" The answer to that is not simply yes or no. It is, "If you truly gave you heart to the Lord you would not want to fornicate."
Also, in the Clear Water Bible where it says Saturday night, everyone that has a good understanding of the Bible knows that after dusk on a Saturday is the first day of the week.

Also keep in mind that God judges based on the truth revealed to the individual. And the bible states that God excuses ignorance, but not willful ignorance, because you want to do what is convenient or comfortable to you. In this case, the individual that knows better, but doesn't do better will not be saved. How can one refute the 4th commandment, but still be okay with the other nine.

However the bible clearly states to "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God..." So it says the 7th day, which is Saturday, and not Sunday. I find that many individuals claim and obey all other 9 commandments except that one about the sabbath and I ask myself why. Maybe you can give me some insight as to why. Also keep in mind that God judges based on the truth revealed to the individual.

Also, for Acts 20:7 on King James Version, you can preach/worship ANY day of the week as long as you set aside the seventh day (Saturday) for worship. In other words, you can worship all you want as long as you do it on Saturday for sure. So, the point is not to do your own satisfaction on the Sabbath. Because on the seventh day of creation, "God rested." So, now, seventh day adventists rest on the seventh day. I'm done giving comments, ur probly mad at me for talking too much lol

I have to comment on 1:16. I havn't studied too in depth, but, the bible said to worship on the SEVENTH day. If you look at the calendar, the days are in order from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Clearly, Saturday is the seventh day. Read the Fourth Commandment and you'll see. It says "Keep the Seventh Day Holy" to shorten it up. anywayz, I got no more room to talk, so you don't have to approve this if you don't want to...but that's my belief

I have been to many so called officieal adventist sites which do not accuratly portrey SDA's. many read info on us and think they know but it takes in depth study. I know some of it is wrong of painted in false light because I know Adventist doctrine and this video is not accurate. Many of Ellen Whites writings are online now copied from public libraries and authentic adventist websites are easy to spot. There's adventist doctrine I don't see how anyone could agree is ok. Perhaps, that is how you are interpreting scripture through a narrow view and you have learned preconceived notions that the SDA is correct because that is all you have been exposed to, or you have not studied to see if the SDA doctrine is sound. It is true that salvation is a free gift for which we can do nothing to earn. However, once saved are we able to keep sinning? Paul says in Romans 6:1-2-- "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" In other words, we are saved, but we still follow the commandments of God as Jesus instructed us to not because we have to to be saved, but because we love Him.

What I don't understand is why the SDA just ignore the Resurrection of Christ. "The Lord's Day" has structured the history of Christianity for two thousand years. It is not just some part of the weekend, it is a Holy Day, yet the SDA mock it as meaningless and evil. I have made several videos discussing the sabbath based on prophecy and other scripture. Christians aren't Sunday worshipers, that term implies we worship a day. We worship the Lord on Sunday, our rest is in him, "The Lord's day."

i dont remember realm of the dead in the bible, when laserus woke he said nothing, when the little girl woke she said nothing, for what can you say about a dreamless sleep, one night you lie down in bed and the moment you close your eyes you wake up and its morning, jesus said to the robber "from this moment on you will be with me" the robber died shortley, jesus said that because the robbers next concious thought is in the resurection, but the robber was dead for many years so he was asleep.

The realm of the dead is "Sheol." "place of the dead" or the "place of departed souls/spirits." The New Testament Greek word for hell is "Hades," which also refers to "the place of the dead." The abode of the saved was called "Paradise" and "Abraham's bosom." The place of rest, where the souls of the saints resided, till Christ had opened heaven by his death. Lazarus of Bethany was dead, not sleeping. Jesus makes this clear as well as the scripture tell us he had been dead four days and by the time Jesus arrived the body was stinking. Martha thought he would be raised on the last day, but Jesus showed her he had power over death Jhn 11:25 and raised him then. Read John 11:14-24 for the complete understanding of this resurrection.

He went to Paradise with Christ also known as Abraham's bosom, the abode or place of the dead we know Christ has the keys and power over death and hell. We didn't really address the Lord's day much further because the discussion moved to soul sleep. Which is only taught by Jehovah witnesses, Seventh day adventist and Church of God which believe there no immortal soul and we all just go back to the ground unconscious sleep until final judgment and either make it to heaven or get annihilated and no such place as an everlasting hell. How do you explain Ecclesiastes 9:5 - "The living at least know they will die, but the dead know nothing." or Daniel 12:2 - "Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace." If people are living forever in heaven (or hell for that matter), why don't they know anything? Why will they be raised at some other date?

Well, according to Strong's concordance, "spirit" in this verse is from the Hebrew "rûah" which is translated as "breath" or "wind" - esp "the Spirit of God". Need I direct you to Gen 2:7 - "Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the mans nostrils, and the man became a living person." The word "breath" here is translated as "breath" or "blast of breath". Soooo, the spirit that returns is simply the breath of life that God gave.

Don't cherry pick through the concordance, there is many ways that spirit is translated with context of the rest of scripture. There are videos on soul sleep where I have address the sda false teaching of annihilation of the soul, or soul sleep, no hell etc.

Why would there be a verse explaining something that was understood? According to
Matthew 5:17, Jesus Himself said "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
I'm sure that you don't think that you can murder, thieve or lie your way to heaven--do you? Why do you believe that the 4th Commandment is the only one that no longer applies?

I keep the Sabbath because Jesus did and there is no command from Him nor any of His followers to change that. According to Jesus Himself in the next verse (Matthew 5:18): "I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

These videos are not for the SDA. God's word is not debatable. People can find out for themselves just like I have and my hope is these videos will get people to investigate the sda false teaching and why. I can delete comments as I see fit, I am tired of dealing with EW spirit of false prophecy spewing out of the mouth of every sda w/ the same old ignorance. Read the comments if you want to see the discussions on the topic. It is old. I don't have the time to repeat myself over and over.

Biblical questions are not answered by yes or no, they have to be explained, you as religious person should know! I am not an SDA member but I read the bible and they are right wether you like it or not! the city of Seven Hills is the Catholic church if you guys want to defend them go ahead but you know you are defending the beast and worshiping its day the sunday because theyre is no biblical reference on the Sunday!
