Not to flame or anything, but this doesn't seem too practical. Melee (oh noes, I said the forbidden Brawl word!) can do these things easily and they didn't have to make up a term for it. While the moving forward with an airdodge looks a little useful, it appears like his roll is still faster and would be a better option.
When was BDC found? I found it back in March last year, back when everyone was naming ATs after themselves , and i wanted to call it "spicejumping". Oh well.
I noticed after messing with this technique that (in my opinion) there's really no need to BDC as you do your aerials and run the risk of tripping. and the same effect of nonlaggy up airs and back airs can be obtained without doing such. (also note that the thunder stompdoesn't actually go any further from doing so)
However this is turning out to be very useful in approaching projectile spammers more quickly and effectively; what with the air dodge to buffered shield.
Any time you dash, you run the risk of tripping. Most tournaments (in my area anyways - NYC) have tripping turned off via a hack, so it doesn't matter.

What's not practical about preforming moves faster and having more applied range? o_o
The key part in this is the "Buffered". Melee had a 1 frame buffer iirc...not that it needed to be faster. :P
Also, I wouldn't recommend approaching with rolls.

rolls get punished pretty easy though, this leaves you able to attack :)

Thanks for the guide. xD

Does doing this increase your chance of tripping? Just wondering whether or not to use it sparingly.
