Unfortunately I can not believe she is Aldonza - too decent. Just see two other performance watch?v=XQowyAp2DKw and

watch?v=EXxMAwn18mQ&feature=re­lated - they are more powerful and realistic.

Nevertheless: I would like to hear in the real life Ms. Teepen - her voice is top quality, in other role.

Her performance is not lacking. This performance was meant to get people to come watch 'man of la mancha' without any prior knowledge of the content. To sing 'Aldonza' in the way it features in the show would be a very bad choice - however good the song, Aldonza is very unappealing at that moment. So they edited the song in such a way that it can be sung in a confident manner. You can't blame the singer for that. It's a strange choice, but not unforgivable.

@LadyQGinny Yes, she is quite famous in her country. She was Rumpleteazer in the Dutch 'Cats' (she graduated as a classical ballet dancer and only started singing afterwards) She was also in a tv contest show to play Evita Peron in the musical 'Evita' - she was the second runner-up, but got to play Evita after all as the alternate and 1st understudy. She did play Aldonza in the Dutch musical, but became really famous by playing Scaramouche (1st cast) in We Will Rock You (Holland & Belgium).

I don't speak Dutch, but it must have been a horrible translation. Her looks and actions have nothing to do with the song as it is, in English. She is supposed to be sad, angry, ashamed, begging Quixote to stop tormenting her by calling her Lady and reminding her how horrible her life is.

Nice voice, though. Great dancing. If she were only singing and dancing about something else.
