  • why do not go next time to zone south in la paz is less nasty!!! u are going to eat with people non with animals like those fucking indians!!!!!!! believe me cool girls and cool food hahahahah next year i will be there again!!!!

  • @elbolit Aprende ingles y no jodas hombre. What a joke. You can barely speak english and you are hating on people and saying racist stuff. Go to school, learn english and come back later. Cheers

  • @ELconchesumare well well i will maybe if you learn spanish too!!!

  • she just touched her food with the spoons, After her mouth had been on the food,, NASTY !

  • jajajajajajaja...........hey Joanna!......next time try this at atodochancho com, real bolivian food made with safe, passion and tradition. And for all foreign visitors, remember ask a tour operator where find the real good & safe street food or traditional food in Bolivia. And that is not a saltena, that's a tucumana.

  • thats called tukumana and the drink is made of peaches that have been dried.

  • Geezus! Is she insane???? LOL I'm shure she caught a salmonellosis. Your tummy and your body's defense system have to be trained to deal with all the bacteria in that food. I don't deny it's DELICIOUS though XD

  • ok...first of all that was NOT a salteña, that was an empanada tucumana, which is not baked but actually deep fried, and yeah they're actually very much like a samosa, only they have some kind of meat inside.

The "thing sitting in the bottom there" is a sundried peach, so that was a kind of peach iced tea.

And yeah, the "fried peanuts drink" or chicha de mani is actually REALLY good.

BTW you shouldn't talk with your mouth full...didn't your momma teach that?..heheheh

    =)

  • i absolutely LOVEE bolivian food, thats like one of the reasons i go back evey year!!

  • Hey, they are Tucumanas, but they are really good too, you can try Tucumanas in the "Coliseo Cerrado Julio Borelli" I think you'll like them. And if you want to eat Salteñas, you can go to "Los Castores" in La Paz city.

    Enjoy.. =D

  • @danimani84 or u could go to "Las saltenas pacenas" i san miguel

  • lol she would put anythign in her mouth

  • The Saltena Is the piffest patty out there in latin america. It goes way far than the empanada/ And more flavoursome..... TRUSS ME!!!

    Argh Fu*k its so good!!

  • i do believe this is a tucumana. Saltenas normally do not have eggs in them. Plus if it was deep fried it was for sure a tucumana

  • the girl must of been sick the next day, I wouldn't dare mix all those foods together.

Bolivian food is the best though, lo mejor, but you have to know where to eat. Some places know how to cook, others not.

  • YOU GOT TO BE REALLY CAREFULL WITH THE HEALTY BOLIVIAN FOOD THATS NOT TOO CLEAN

  • looks like that saltena is fried..lol.she's just tryin everything

  • the thing on the bottom was peach

  • did you really eat that on the same day?

thank you for tasting our food!

  • Very few people know the real and honest origin of the Salteña or Tucumana. I happen to know the story and I live 10 minutes drive from a restaurant where they actually serve the original Salteña and the name is interesting.

  • Be careful not to eat well is not in the streets of La Paz you should go to eat Paceña ls behind the stadium is best for peace and healthy ice cream as you should go to the FRIGO delicious

  • duuuh that will happen anywhere in the world where food is being sold in the streets exposed to any typo of pollution. Besides people actually get sick not because the seller's hands are dirty but because some of them sell their stuff even tho its expired ..thats why if ur smart u go to the stands that are popular so at least u can hope their stuff is more fresh

  • hey bolivian ppl chill...it kinda sucks she got the name wrong for our typical foods, but there is no need to call her names, at least she is trying to show we have good tasty stuff to offer :-)

  • thats not really salteña... thats tucumana LOL!!

  • Buena hermano!

    Javier , Brasil

  • TRUE!!!! THAT FOOD IS REALLY GOOD!

  • I eat street food all the time.... it's much better than most of the restaurants. The company is more interesting, too.

  • Warning don't do it unless you know your defense system is going to fight back ANY Infection! BTW...the first ones are TUCUMANAS not salteñas and the infection actually comes in those salsas. The drink...Mocochinchi (dry peach). Food is good in safer places...only dare if you are a local.!
