RMXP In Vista

I've done everything that was said, yet my stupid laptop keeps @#$%ing it up. Each time I try to open RMXP, it keeps saying "RMXP has stopped working". Got a solution for that? :/

I've changed all the Service pack 2 properties for several icons and downloaded and unzipped that rgss102e. Now it says ' RGSS-RTP not installed'. What do I do now?

Chances are you need to reinstall the RTP, or Runtime Package.

i had this problem, make sure you extract all the files before installing so you can use the setup menu thing, the one with the buttons

Basically, you need to right click desktop, go to personalize, then to display settings and adjust your screen resolution. It's very simple, there's a slidebar and everything.

Woah, i was looking for a solution, I tried the Compactibility mode for Windows XP the Rund as a Administator, downloading the .dll files but I didnt remember the Game file. :D

Even after doing this (I guess it was a step in the right direction), the problem with my program still persisted: No matter how many times I run the program as an administraitor, the program still stops working due to an application crash. Any idea why?
