@tneybrit03 All donors must be 18+ for legal reasons. To register, you simply swab your cheek with a big q-tip. If you are a match, you're given medicine to increase your bone marrow, then they insert a needle into your hip bone and they take some marrow. It doesn't really hurt, like giving blood. (My BIL was a donor).

i cant donate myself but my twin brother is registered.i was diagnosed with lukemia in 90 and had a bone marrow transplant.it gets a little ruff at times but never give up the fight to live.my doctors use to set my goals 4 me.they told me i wouldnt be able to snow ski so i did.they also told me id never work again,but i did less than a year after they told me that.no matter what happens never be afraid,have no fear and ask 4 forgivness.best of luck to u and ill send u some special angels.
