I absolutely hate this monologue, because really my teenage years were the best years of my life. When I'm an adult I'm seriously going to miss being a teenager. You just need to know how to handle it.

other than the slurring and awkward pausing (probably supposed to be used for something other than awkwardness) it was good.

No offense to the people who have done this before, but I really do not like this monologue. I do think you did the best you could acting wise, but it's boring.

My advice to you is to do a monologue from a show. They are always better.

And I know Greta Zehner, the girl who wrote this monologue! She's an incredibly shy, quiet, but also really sweet girl and she loves acting. And I didn't even know that she had written a monologue until I was online trying to buy tickets to this play she's in and I stumbled on all of these different videos of people doing this monologue that she wrote!

Try doing a simple activity while you peform, it makes the performance more interesting. Also, ask yourself the following questions. Who am I talking to?

Why am I talking to them?

What do I want?

Why?

The answers will help you develop a realistic nad rivetign piece. Good luck!!
